We booked for three nights, but only stayed for two since we couldn't make it to Marrakech on the first night. Still we had to pay for it, although we had called and warned them we weren't going to make it. The decor is great, the staff is nice, friendly and very polite. Although the room was a bit small...

Hi Tamara, I'm sorry about the bad advisor given to Riad Assala. Permit me to explain some details. In the Booking Contract, it's written that in case of modified less than 7 days, the night will be charged. About the invasive staff: in a hotel, must staff enter in the room for cleaning every day? It's the same in a...

This is the best place I have ever stayed. All the opulence you can take, candles everywhere, ambient music and a refreshing plunge pool. The room was sumptuous and the Tagore meal we had on our first evening absolutely delightful.

This is a very beautiful and bright riad, where the staff was very gentle and attentive. Our room had the most incredible wooden ceeling painted and carved!!! Breakfasts are served in the terrace, where you can enjoy the view of the mazy little streets around. Riad Assala as placed in the Medina, is near every attraction you must see, so...

We came to Assala after a harrowing night finding our first Riad in Marrakesh. The staff (Abdel and Assia) were extremely helpful with the parking situation and navigating the wonders and perils of the medina. The people here care deeply about the reputation of Marrakesh as a wonderful tourist destination, and they will go out of their way to help...

We made a reservation September 25 via internet for 12 October for 4 persons, our credit card was charged for 135 Euro in advance for reservation. When we arrived the hotel was closed. We called the owner, Catherine Vacelet she said that the riad is under construction. She did not even inform us that the hotel will close, she only...

We were all really pleased with the Riad - it had so many lovely features. The rooms were amazing - we stayed along with another couple and had booked mini suites. It was definitely good having the extra space - a seating area in the room. Our room was the only one on the ground floor in the half of...

Lovely Riad with 6 rooms, two courtyards (1 with a small pool ~1,60m deep) and two roof top terraces. Not luxurious but well restored and full of the decorative details one looks for in Morocco. Very friendly and helpful staff headed by Hamid. Meals are tasty but a bit pricey and dining/breakfast room is very small - do not expect...
