We really enjoyed staying at this local riad. + Beautiful traditional decorations. + Hot water at any time and amenities replaced when needed. + About 10 minutes from Jemaa el Fnaa. + Very nice hosts, one speaking English. + We arranged a trip to the desert for 2 nights and the hosts were very helpful and arranged for us to...

My partner and I have this week stayed at Riad El Az in Marrakech. The Riad itself is perfectly located a ten minute or so walk to the hustle and bustle of the main square. It's traditionally built and decorated, and a perfect place to stay after a long day exploring the medina and the many souks that Marrakech has...

We were a little startled at first, when after a long trip we had trouble finding the place, and a young boy from the street took us to the Riad. This is our first time in Morocco so we didnt know what to expect. At first sight, the entrance to the Riad made us think we were in the wrong...

We stayed at this riad for a week and it was brilliant. It was a 10min walk from the main square and was like a hidden gem. I read a review about the walk to the riad so was abit nervous but after the first night I realised there waa nothing to worry about. It is a short walk down...

We stayed here as a group of 8 in November. Our rooms varied as we had two doubles and two twins. The twins were far nicer than the doubles but all were very basic? The bathrooms were like little caves? I thought the communal areas in the riad were lovely, very traditional and quaint! The roof terrace was a nice...

We stayed I'm the suite at the top if the Riad. We couldn't ask for more. Yusuf and Rasheeda, Hiya was simple the best! They love the kids even when our toddler was waking up the whole riad at 7am in the morning! It is very central to the old city and a 10 min walk to the new city....

My daughter and I stayed in the suite at this riad and we had a double room each plus a large sitting area. It is basic but very clean and has good working aircon! The downstairs area is attractive and the lit candles at night add a touch of magic. Breakfast is basic, coffee pancakes and bread with jams. The...

We stayed here with our 3kids, we had the suite upstairs which consisted of 2 bedrooms and a living room between the 2 rooms. The Riad is beautiful and a welcomed peacefulness from the chaos outside! It is in a residential part next to the hospital and a 5-7 minute walk to the main Djemma El Fanaa square. The breakfast...

This is a beautiful Riad, and very good value for money. We had a big room that was very clean, comfy and quiet on the top floor. The terrace is a lovely place to sit with superb views. Friendly staff and a good location not far from the main square.

I can wholeheartly suggest this riad. Its lovely in its details, an very caring restauration took place. The only disappointment was that seating options for breakfast are limited to one nice table in the gorgeous courtyard and only cushions on the floor await you if you come late to breakfast, or the seating in the darker diwan room. I suggest...

“Go for the suite if you can because its very private and you are not disturbed by other guests and get lots of space. Rooms off the central courtyard are close to public areas and not very private, but the suite has its own door and stairs plus a window to look out to the street.”
