Arrival at the Riad was via a bustling market place and down a little alley - slightly disconcerting at first but any qualms were soon quashed by the warm greeting and first rate hospitality we encountered both when we were welcomed in and throughout our stay. The rooms are arranged around a courtyard area with a small spa bath, regularly...

I must admit when we were going through the market I had my doubts. However all was well and our stay was very enjoyable. Although a reconstruction it has been done with materials and most things work well. Recommend for all but those recalcitrants who insist on 5 stars.

Very comfortable rooms, very helpful friendly staff. Very interesting busy street entrance, winding our way through a back lane to a delightful surprise after a very log journey. We would have happily stayed there a week. Family of a couple and my 86 year old mother.

OK the stairs are steep and there are a few imperfections but Riad Moucharabieh is possibly the most comfortable lodging I have ever stayed in. Why, the staff raise the term "guest house" to an entirely new level. There was nothing we asked for that wasn't met with a smile and competent execution. Add to that the intrinsic charm of...

Such a surprise down a little alley to open the door into a lovely example of Riad style accommodation. Plenty of nice Moroccan decor from classy to quirky. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Meals were delightful especially with Majed's wonderful service. Breakfast on the terrace was a stand out experience. ideally located in the old Medina, easy walk to...

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this riad. The room was large enough, with rose petals everywhere, nice and cool in the August heat of Marrakesh. The pool was just excellent to cool down, too. The breakfast on the roof-top terrace was the most romantic moment of our whole stay in Morocco. We once had dinner on the...

We stayed at the Riad Moucharabieth for 6 nights for our honeymoon at the beginning of June. Hidden down a small alley, once through the door, this is truly a beautiful Riad. Adorned with roses and rose petals everywhere, it is plain to see that it is run with much love by all the staff especially Nora and Majid. Our...

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May 2014. This is an oasis of calm in the mystical magical chaos that is the Medina. Staff and owner worked really hard to make us welcome. Don't be put off by the outside approach to the Riad, once you get behind the front door it is wonderful and very atmospheric.

This riad is a lovely oasis in the chaos of Marrakech's medina. The rooms are large and beautifully Moroccan in design, the public areas comfortable and relaxing and the staff is professional and welcoming-there is also a beautiful rooftop patio looking over the city's rooftops. The beds are serviceable, if not overly comfortable but the bathrooms look like something out...

The rooms are a little dated, but overall our stay was fantastic. Roses abounded, even in the toilet bowl. The staff was attentive, but not intrusive, and very accommodating. We spent two nights there but would have loved to stay longer. There have been some comments about the call to prayer being loud. That is true, but consider where you...

“We had the opportunity to look at all the rooms in the Riad as we were the only guests staying for 2 nights. Would recommend any of the rooms as are all of equal quality.”

“We book our Moroccan trip through "Experience It" travel service which can be found on the web. They chose the riads where we stayed. They provided an excellent experience at a very reasonable price. We could not be more pleased with what they offered. Also, ask for an English speaking drive named "Driss," who drove us all over Morocco in his Mercedes van.”
