It is a nice place to stay. Calm and quiet, situated in the middle of the highlights of Marrackech (Medina, palast and gardens). Very friendly personal who is also very helpful if you need some help, good food and rooms are very clean. We stayed a few days in the Riad Altair and we have lots of good memories of...

We stayed at Riad Altair for four nights in February and the service was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they arranged a tour to the Atlas Mountains which was the highlight of our trip. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location to explore. Would definitely recommend.

This is a small Riad boutique style, very comfortable beds. Nicely located in the Medina, but close to mosque so can be noisy at 4:30am, Staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Wifi ok, breakfast excellent. Would stay here again

We had the airport transfer arranged by the Riad Altair which was a great idea because Riads are often down alleyways that you may not find the first time and this Riad is not different. You are greeted always by a smiling face of one of the staff. Once inside, the beautiful courtyard is calm and has two sitting areas...

Even as you transfer from the airport you get a sense of the chaos and noise that characterises the Medina in Marrakech, but the moment you are met and taken through the back alleys to the Riad Altair you are in another world. The Riad is an oasis of calm - all noise, including the ubiquitous mopeds, was left behind...

Spent 3 night at Riad Altair and had a very peaceful and tranquil stay. The staff where extremely helpful when ever I sought them out. The location of the Riad is very convenient for anyone on a short or long stay. It's very close to the Souks and other popular sights. You'll hardly need to fetch a taxi to see...

This is a Riad with few rooms which adds to the very homely feel. There is a lovely roof top with a view of the Medina, the new city and also the Atlas mountains, perfect for relaxing after a hectic day. The location next to one of the oldest mosques in the Medina, is helpful for navigation when returning back...

I had a few days spare and itchy feet. Marrakech had always beckoned but I had never been before. I booked through British Airways so was hoping that this riad and its area would live up to expectations. I struggled to find a taxi at the airport, it's a scrum with everyone shouting. Finally I got one (half the original...

I booked Riad Altair on the BA website. The staff were brilliant to the extent that Abdel ( the manager) helped me book a last minuet trip to the Atlas Mountains that really enhanced my trip. Breakfast offered a good choice and was brought out whenever you were ready. The Riad itself was very well kept and offered a number...

Marrakesh itself did not suit us at all, but the Riad Altair was excellent - a quiet oasis in a busy and sometimes not very friendly town. The staff were very professional and friendly and the food was excellent - we ate there each evening, initially to avoid the hassle of finding somewhere in the Medina, but then for the...
