During my stay in Morocco I stayed and visited a few Riads. This Riad Shama was my first and one of the most lovely. I really like the pool which was relaxing to look upon. I am not sure if people swim in it ever. I visited the Riad in winter so it was too cold to swim. Riads are...

This was a beautiful Riad not to far from the centre of Marrakesh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms where clean and the food was great. If you are walking you can get to the central square in about 20mins or if you get a taxi or tuctuc it costs about 30/40 DHS depending how well you...

Since the staff was so accommodating I wish I was allowed to give a 3.5 star rating but the ratings system only allows 3 or 4. I will break down my rating by pros and cons as to be as objective as possible. Pros... amazing and helpful staff! Very accommodating. Close to the main attractions. If you are willing to...

This is a beautiful place to stay. In all my life I've never had lodgings that were this peaceful. The building is very large, boasts a lovely courtyard with a pool and a little alcove where people can enjoy being out doors and enjoy tea or a cigarette. There is a dining room which serves all three meals open all...

Magid was a fantastic host. He made us feel very welcome and even walked us to a restaurant on our first evening. We liked the location of the Riad. It was very convenient but you also felt that you were getting a feel of the real Marrakesh. I'm not a super adventurous person and the location was the right mix...

My boyfriend and I went to Riad Shama. We had a really great stay in Riad Shama. They picked us up from the airport and we got welcome tea and water. Everything was so good, and the people are so friendly. We hope to see you again!

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago with my partner, we absolutely loved this riad and I highly recommend it. The streets right outside the riad are busy and hectic but as soon as you step inside the door you don't hear any of the outside noise, it truly is so tranquil peaceful. Staff are friendly and helpful, giving...

This riad is amazing, we had a car, so we parked it nearbly in medina for a small price (the front desk said how much is normal). We loved our room, the smell and spirit in the riad. Breakfast was amazing, enjoyed it every morning. Also we tried dinner for a few times and it was great too. Loved service...

They say that finding a good Riad is the key to an enjoyable stay in Marrakech & Riad Shama has hit the nail on the head. The staff could not have been more helpful and really fulfilled my every need. From booking day trips, helpful advice, and everything else I needed. I was travelling solo and they made me feel...

The details matter. Overall a nice Riad with friendly staff however there were more and more details adding up which I didn't like: -broke down chairs at the pool -broken showerhead and hose -wifi not properly working -the soap was not refilled during our whole stay even though we opened the lid and made clear that it was empty -.....
