This was by far the best Riad we stayed in. Great location, lovely staff and owner. Rooms were clean and authentic. Our kids had a much larger room with twin beds, and this was much lighter and brighter than the double room we had. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a joy, as was a sundowner on the roof terrace...

We really enjoyed staying at Zouina. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were always helpful. Stay here if you want a calm oasis that is only 5 minutes walk from the main square. All of the advice from Catherine was excellent and was a great help when we arrived. The breakfast was also great. We will be back!

This is a beautifully restored riad, and breakfast on the terrace was our favorite part of the day. It's also centrally located, with access to the souks, medina, museums, and other cultural sights of Marrakech.

I spent a few nights here with my parents and brother during our recent travels, while I have travelled extensively for work my family are relatively new travelers and this riad was a welcome oasis from the busy Medina. Catherine and her team made everything so comfortable and were able to accommodate my gluten free diet with ease. Catherine had...

What a great raid in the middle of the medina...the space and the rooms are elegantly done, with a fantastic roof top terrace and excellent antique charm in the rooms. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and made the entire experience very much a pleasurable one. Thank you to Catherine and her great staff for our stay!

Everything is perfect in this ryad. The wonderful owner Catherine greeted us warmly even if we were much earlier than the supposed checkin time. She even greeted us with breakfast, because we had just gotten to the city and we didn't have the time yet to get anything to eat! Catherine was super helpful also by giving us all the...

Catherine and her team make of this old riad a wonderful place to spend some days in Marrakesch. Every room is different, with thoughtfully and tastefully selected furniture and decoration. You feel like being in a palace (you are in one!). The courtyard with the small pool is marvellous, also the roof terrace. The breakfast is great! What for me...

This is a beautiful large place with excellent service and nice rooms. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five it's because I liked another riad by the same owner even better! (Riad Azouina) I also like the location, but it's a little bit less than the other one which was in the heart of the Medina....

We stayed in the Ryad Zouina in the Medina of Marrakesh from April 23 thru May 12 2015. The place is well run by Mrs Zouina, a busy and helpful French lady, who keeps five or six Berber girls on the trot all day. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, bathrooms merit only “two-star” on an international scale, the TV...

Great riad, with plenty of privacy, spacious patios and big spotless rooms, close to the main square. Catherine does a great job running the place and making every guest feeling at home in her riad and also in town.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
RYAD ZOUINA is situated in a prime location, on the main street of district “Mouassine", the most wellknown of the Medina : only seven minutes by feet from the famous Jemaa El Fna Square and three minutes from the Souks. As soon as you come through the remarkable chiselled copper door, you will be amazed at the space, quietness and spell of the site. Two authentic ancient ryads were gathered together, restored and turned into Guest House with deepest care of preserving the priceless architectural inheritance and with the full respect for Moroccan traditions. The whole RYAD ZOUINA gets now a huge surface (almost 1000 square meters) with only 10 bedrooms and 2 patios, 2 living-rooms, 1 hammam, 1 massages room, 1 swimming pool/jacuzzi, 1 terrace for breakfasts and 2 panoramic ones. Catherine, the owner, lives on site and will welcome you in her house, making your stay in Marrakesh an unforgettable experiment. ... more   less
