We stayed at Riad Shaden from 16-19 March 2016 and Youseff and the team made our stay extremely enjoyable. The Riad organises the airport transfers to make your arrival as stress-free as possible. The Riad is very comfortable and homely, and you could easily spend a relaxing afternoon reading on the rooftop terrace or in the small lounge if you...

Quiet and peaceful. Very pleasant staff. Bit of a walk from main square. All added to the experience. Used tuktuk to come back to riad cost 25 mad. Very safe for two ladies on their own. The souks are good fun if not really good value. Interesting trip to mountains showing Berber house and Argan factory.

I would normally always respond to a 3 out of 5 review, however I am at a loss to know how to reply to a review which does not in fact mention any problems or areas where we could improve our service. We know that these guests in fact had a great stay with us, which is evident from the...

The location is 15 mins from the main square and will give you the opportunity to see life as it is! Out of the touristic atmosphere...To find it can be a challenge as fascinating! Our room was basic but comfortable! The safe isn't safe! It should be attached to the wall. The team is ready to help you any time!...

We wanted a place to stay for a short break and this was it ! Not easy to find initially but at the end of a blind alley it is quieter than one on the main walkways. The staff were very attentive with Yusuf overseeing everything always with a beaming smile and helpful attitude. Easily within most of the attractions...

Riad Shaden is a small, traditional riad (Moroccan house with an interior courtyard) in the medina (old walled city). The location is great for walking to most attractions but taxis are also close by just outside the gate. The Riad is in the middle of a thriving neighbourhood where you will be passing the bakery, butcher, veggie seller, food stalls...

Husband, teenage son and I have just returned from a memorable 6 night stay in this lovely riad. It's tucked down a tiny lane in Marrakech's old medina quarter, accessible only on foot/motorbike/donkey and not by car. The staff arranged transfers from and to the airport, including taking our suitcases in a cart from the taxi drop-off point to save...

Just back from a stay at Riad Shaden. Good location for walking to the souks through friendly neighbourhood (kids playing football in the street always had a smile and a bonjour). Staff were great, very helpful and always smiling. Cannot recommend the food highly enough, best meals we had while in Marrakech. Will definitely return. Thanks to Youssef, Said and...

Just back from a second stay at this delightful riad. The staff here, Youseff, Said, Sadia and Sanna, go that extra mile to make your stay that extra bit special. While here we went on a few excursions where we used the very charming and knowledgeable Abdul. The food in the riad is delicious, a different breakfast every morning. Ate...

We've just enjoyed our third dinner at Riad Shaden, all fresh food skilfully prepared, delightful flavours, generous portions. We have loved our stay here, a great base both for exploring the medina and for setting out on excursions with charming driver Fariss. Our large room at the end of the balcony is spacious and decorated with beautiful tiles and decorative...
