close to the beach (Kasbah of the Udayas), the medina, and Hassan Tower and the train station. It's a shame that the roadwork currently going on the main street is slightly annoying but it's no fault of the riad. Owner and staff very friendly, breakfast ample and delicious. Ample hot water and very powerful shower - best we had in...

We really enjoyed our one night in Rabat as we spent it at Dar Yanis. Our room was lovely, quiet and had everything we needed (especially a good mattress). The staff have excellent suggestions for places to visit and eat. They also helped us look up the train schedule and correctly assured us we didn't need to book until the...

Arrived in Rabat early evening having booked taxi transfer through the hotel. All was good and the guy who runs the place came out to meet the taxi and guide us to the Riad as taxi is not allowed to enter. The Riad is beautiful and we had the Roses room on the roof which was equally lovely. Very pretty...

Dar Yanis was our first encounter with Moroccan hospitality, and a great one! We were friendly welcomed with some Thé à la menthe and during our 2 day stay the staff proved helpful, calm, prompt and sincere. We had a very charming room at the top of the riad, next to the roof terrace with sunbeds. The shower in our...

At our arrival we were nicely welcomed with a bottle of cool water. The staff was very friendly and maintained a good service during our stay. The room was cozy and was decorated in a Moroccan style. The air conditioning was working properly and quietly. The Wifi was strong in the entire building. The bathroom was small but sufficed. The...

This Riad with lovely interior is located in the heart of Rabat's Medina. Nearby are some good and cheap (snack) restaurants. The staff is friendly, petite dejeuner was good and the air conditiones rooms are comfortable! Also, a rock beach which is nice for photos is nearby (see pics)

I made the bookings at Dar Yanis merely a few days earlier having decided on my trip to Morocco late. I deliberated on a few other Riads in Rabat before deciding on Dar Yanis. I am glad to say that I have made a great choice given that the Riad is within walking distance from the Rabat Ville train station...
