I stayed here for three nights on my own, it's a lovely quite place on the old bagomoyo road, a little way from the centre of town but this means it's much quieter. The owner and other staff are really lovely and accomodating, I felt safe and at home here. It is more of a converted house than a hotel,...

We stayed in this accomodation for the second time in two years. Its located outside the city centre, approx. 15-20 min from the slipway. Rooms are large, clean, nice, with airconditioning. They have nice staff which help you and possible to eat if you let them know in advance. Very good value for money. Roel and Monique

The way to this place is long from nearly everywhere but it is worth it. You will find a comfortable and silent place without the noise which is omnipresent more...

this hotel was nice, it was clean, and the breakfast was very good. It was overpriced though, as they double the rate for 2 people in a room, rather than one (I was traveling with my husband, so we had one bed). Also, they are unwilling to make a deal for long-term stays.

A great alternative v. staying at a hotel in Dar if you don't mind being a bit off of the beaten path. In the Upanga area, about 20 minutes from the airport and a few miles from city center. Quiet neighborhood, private house with about 8 rooms, meals can be arranged but aren't standard, rooms air conditioned and with refrigerators....
