This was a small quiet camp area with a spectacular view out into the Serengeti. The bathrooms were the dirtiest we came across in 10 days of camping in Africa but that is mostly due to the bats and baboons that apparently also use them.

I'll echo other comments about this campsite. It is lovely and wild, with great views of the surrounding plains and rocky outcroppings... However, its less frequented facilities are minimal and quite dirty with bat and baboon droppings. Had to skip the shower and barely used...More

Kitchen and Dining buildings looked fairly new. However, bats residing in the kitchen roof, plenty of bat droppings on the food preparation area. There is a toilet block, but is in poor repair, on the plus side there was loo paper. No electricity. However, my...More

Camping in Tanzania's parks is expensive. Heck, everything is expensive and you get very little for what you pay. The roads to this campsite are some of the worst in the park and even a 4x4 has a hard time getting up to the location....More
