We first visited here in August, 2011. This was the 10th safari camp/lodge we stayed in and our first Singita property. The camp was immaculate. Our guide, Edward K., instantly became our favorite guide in East Africa (and remains so to this day). The managers, Brad and Kate, are among the best in East Africa (they have since moved up...

What can I say about Faru Faru that hasn't already been said. This hotel goes above and beyond and every detail is meticulously thought out. The Grumeti Reserve is a very special place in that it is a private reserve therefore it is not overrun by Safari Vehicles and people. You truly feel like you are alone. Faru Faru is...

I am not sure where to start with this review. Is it possible that staying at this hotel was actually my husband and I being transported to a different World, heaven maybe? We came to the Serengeti for our honeymoon, spending 3 nights at Faru Faru and 3 nights at Sabora Tented Camp (make sure to do this as well!)...

Two nights on a family Christmas trip with kids and grandkids. Great lodge, excellent food, wonderful staff - - - and great Guide Jeremiah. Tented rooms have air-conditioning. Because it is a private concession, off-roading for close animal views are easily available to enjoy the multitude of game. Great sundowner, fire pit experience every evening. Lovely in-the-field bunch was a...

Last year we stayed at Singita Bolders in South Africa. We loved it and wanted to visit another Singita Resort. We chose Faru Faru which has the same type of vibe and decor. We had a wonderful time at Far Far. The game drives were AMAZING!!. We saw large herds of every type of animal. Just driving from the airstrip...

Singita properties are the greatest, most spectacular game lodges on earth! We have stayed at their properties in South Africa and as a result made Singita Faru Faru a "must" destination when we were planning to visit the Serengeti in Tanzania. We are never disappointed! From the moment your small personal plane lands at the private air strip, till you...

We stayed at Faru Faru for 3 nights and it was magical. The highlights included the room and its amenities, the food, and the sights of dozens of elephants and zebra at the watering hole viewable from most rooms and the main lodge. Our experience was amazing from the moment we arrived with the elephants and zebra taking turns drinking...

We spent 3 exciting days at this amazing Singita property. The staff was marvelous without exception. Sorry but we've forgotten their names and they deserved to be mentioned because they were special. My wife had fallen and injured herself at a previous camp and many staffers here offered to assist her for which we were very grateful. The setting is...

Singita Faru Faru Lodge is set in Grumeti in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Built on a gently sloping hill, this riverine lodge, positioned on the renowned migratory route, is a place where you can quite literally expect the unexpected. Informal, unconventional and surprising at every turn, Singita Faru Faru Lodge is a mix of contemporary, organic style and the quirky practicality of a traditional botanist's camp.
