We wrapped up our safari trip at Singita Faru Faru and wouldn't have done it any other way. We likely would have cried incessantly when checking in at other places if we had booked Faru Faru as our first stop. We knew we were in for a wonderful stay when we were lucky enough to spot an elusive leopard on...

This is a modern rustic, elegant venue one could find in a luxury hotel in northern California; but add a water hole and here comes the buffalo, chimps, hyenas, gazelles and instantly one is in Singita's Faru Faru. Located in the southern area of Grameti's Game Reserve, it's pure luxury. The wall to wall portrait-sized retracting window frames the view....

We are at Faru Faru now and that is all we can say. No way! By far the greatest hotel, lodge, 5 star restaurant, and zen spot we have ever been. Imagine sitting in your 1,000 sq. ft room, looking out your glass wall window at elephants in the watering hole and monkeys in the trees. It goes on with...

Had an absolutely epic stay at Faru Faru and Sabora camp for honeymoon, and despite the exorbitant cost this place is worth every penny. Food and accommodations are akin to a Four Seasons, and the service is impeccable (hat tip to Watson our dedicated server). Their wine program is impressive, and it's getting even better now that they have a...

We stayed first at Singita Tented Camp for 3 nights and then came to Faru Faru. Both were fabulous experiences. The game drives (leopard, cheetah, tons of lions, giraffes, …..), the meals, service, rooms, amenities (fitness center, spa, free laundry) were all top notch. The room in Faru Faru was beautiful - very large window looking out onto a watering...

This is a world class lodge and game reserve in every respect...location, quality of the rooms, cuisine, wines, game and service, service, service! I have been going on safari all over Africa for over 20 years and this is right up at the top. Our guide, Medard, a lovely man with a vast knowledge of the bush, took us one...

James was our incredible ranger, highly recommended. We went in December 2012 and saw both cheetahs and lions with their cubs. Big heards with thousands of wildeebest and buffalo. The service at the hotel is flawless, great and lots of food. Yes, it's expensive, but its worth every penny.

Great staff, everyone always went the extra mile. They make it a very personal experience. Great food, the head chef Peter was fabulous and made great gluten free recipes for our family for every meal. Great rooms with a great space for the kids. It was just the perfect marriage between staying in a tent in the bush and luxury...

Faru Faru was our last stop on our trip to Tanzania. It was the nicest place we stayed, we wanted to start the trip roughing it in camps to begin with then ending with luxury. I enjoyed every aspect of the trip and each had it's advantages. As far as Faru Faru...WOW. When we arrived we had staff waiting for...

A beautiful lodge right on the Grumeti River. Unfortunately in August the river was quite dry- however, still lots to see ! The lodge itself has 2 swimming pools and 2 watering holes offering superb viewing of the animals who visit! As at all Singita properties the service and food are excellent. The staff are all wonderful in anticipating your...

Singita Faru Faru Lodge is set in Grumeti in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Built on a gently sloping hill, this riverine lodge, positioned on the renowned migratory route, is a place where you can quite literally expect the unexpected. Informal, unconventional and surprising at every turn, Singita Faru Faru Lodge is a mix of contemporary, organic style and the quirky practicality of a traditional botanist's camp.
