We traveled with Gate 1 and spent 3 nights here. The food was fantastic, the best we had the entire trip! It is like staying at a 5 star resort, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The setting is wonderful - we saw warthogs running not far from camp and heard lions near, and apparently one night, IN camp!... More

We stayed at Lemala Ewanjan in early March to be near the Great Migration, and it was an experience we will remember forever. We chose a tented camp over a lodge in order to immerse ourselves in the Serengeti, which I was particularly nervous about as I've never gone camping. This is not camping. This is luxury at its best.... More

Fantastic time spent here with husband and two teenage daughters! Food and drink excellent, only place on our visit who went the extra mile for our pescitarian daughter. Very well looked after by staff, and the Masai extremely kind and diligent, particularly when taking you back to your tent with a lion prowling around after dark! Felt very safe with... More

From the delicious meals, the unforgettable safaris, the exquisite views of the Serengeti, unforgettable sunsets and sounds of the wildlife...the stay here was topped off by the excellent service provided by the staff. They definitely made the stay here even more enjoyable and memorable...

Just returned from a group tour and we stayed at this camp. AMAZING! The tent itself is so clean, comfortable and spacious. They have thought of everything in that space. The decor and accents were beautiful, useful and comfortable. The facilities and "talking shower" is wonderfully surprising (I will let you be surprised!). The staff are the most hard working... We stayed for 3 nights in June. We loved everything about this place with the tented cabin and lounge/dining area. It is basically out away from everything and they truck in the food for the camp weekly. It is a bit on the rustic side with a bucket shower and no electricity (other than small lamps), but you still have... More

We were here 3 nights and no one wanted to leave. We found the tents luxurious enough and very thoughtfully equipped. There is nothing that can match waking up, looking out your tent and watching a cluster of giraffe grazing in your front yard. Utter peace and tranquility! The food was the best we had during our 10 day .safari.... More

This place was nice. The food was actually the best here, in the middle of no where, than any where else I stayed at in Tanzania. The tents are mobile and although very nice, have holes for the pipes and the zippers do not make a complete seal so lizards, mice, bugs can get inside, although they do spray the... More

Me and my wife were in Honey Moon for 17 days in Africa. We spent 3 nights on Serengeti National Park, at Lemala Ewanjan Tented. It was low season, but I am sure we spent a couple of the best days in the past few years. How crazy is to stay in a Tent (5 star!) that seems to be... More

I have stayed at a tented camp in the Serengeti before which I thought was amazing...then I got here! The service is exceptional. It is like the staff read your mind. The head waiter Matthew always has a smile on his face. The food - wow. We are in the middle of nowhere and the food is better than some... More
