We stayed for 3 days while on safari. Have stayed at a number of lodges and this has to the one of the best. Beautiful setting, we had great views from our room, could see sunset and the savannah; spacious rooms and hot water

The rooms are all solar powered so there are lights for 24 hours. It's low lighting but it's sufficient. For charging purposes the generator is on about 3 hours in the morning and 3-4 in the evening and there is a power strip in the room. There is also a charging station at reception that is live 24 hours. I hope this answers your question.

Hello, Serengeti Simba Lodge is located just outside Serengeti National Park in the Ikona Wildlife Management Area. It's about 7kms from the Ft Ikoma Gate of the park which is north and central. The gate is about an hours drive from the Seronera area of Serengeti and the lodge is about 20 minutes from the gate. You can also access the lodge from the North, down from the Kenya border. Thanks for your interest in our lodge. Annie Birch, Marketing
