I travel to Africa every year and staying at Ubuntu Camp was a spectacular experience. I requested the tent farthest away from the main camp, which enabled me to hear lions roaring; hyenas cackling and zebra pulling up grass near my tent at night. The staff are professional, courteous and friendly and the food is TDF!

Never felt so comfortable in wilderness before. The food was like in a 1-star restaurant and the staff so friendly that we felt like home. It was luxury and we had everything we need and was the Big Five Animals as well as the Animal Migration and had been fascinated.

We stayed in the Ubuntu camp to view wildlife in Tanzania. The camp was absolutely outstanding. The staff was very friendly and made you feel completely at home. There was something very special about being in a remote location surrounded by beautiful surroundings and exciting wildlife. It was not uncommon to see a giraffe walk by. The food was excellent...

We loved Ubuntu Camp. David and his staff were absolutely wonderful. We would give them 10 stars if we could. Everyone made us feel so welcome and special during our time with them. The food was amazing -- a special thanks to the chefs. Pascal and Loweyo (not sure of the spelling) were so attentive. Pascal even made a special...

A friend & I decided that we would spend 8 nights here rather the usual 2/3 nights in different camps and what a good decision that was. David & Abel and their staff provided a first class service throughout and Godwin, the chef produced a feast at every meal... lunches were particularly delicious with an array of interesting salads. Leyeyo...

I cannot speak highly enough about Ubuntu Camp. This was my second time in the Serengeti but first in the southern region, and it was incredible. David and Abel and his team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived in camp, and our fantastic guide Elia made us feel welcome the moment we stepped off the plane....

Ubuntu camp is a mobile camp that relocates three times a year. They literally pick up everything and move which makes the high standards found here so incredible. It's hard to understand how they operate at such a high standard in the middle of the bush where there is absolutely no infrastructure. They offer spacious and nicely-appointed tent suites, high...

My mother and I stayed at Ubuntu camp at the end of our holiday in Tanzania, our final adventure before heading home. It was an absolute highlight of our trip! The temporary camp settlement had a strong ethos around sustainability, community development and a commitment to operational practices that ensured the lowest possible environmental impact. The individual tents had every...

A wonderful weekend. The camp was perfectly situated, the facilities and food were excellent, the staff were warm and hospitable, our guide went out of his way to insure we had an intimate experience with the Serengeti and its inhabitants. The animals cooperated too. Highly recommended.

We spent our last 3 nights of our 10 day safari at Ubuntu. It was a fantastic end to our trip. David and Abel were wonderful hosts who were always available and came out to meet us after our outings. Ubuntu Migration Camp stops at three spectacular locations across the north, west and south of the Serengeti, following in the tracks of massive herds of wildebeest as they cross the vast plains of the Serengeti in an ancient migration cycle. Shadowing the wildebeest's every move, Ubuntu Camp uncovers fascinating and unexplored corners of this great wilderness, ensuring that first-class game viewing is never far away. With their unwavering focus on keeping pace with the migration, Ubuntu's guides have an enviable reputation for bringing this remarkable natural phenomenon to life. The camp itself is intimate and personal, and the seven spacious tented suites epitomise traditional East African safari charm. ... more   less
