While we only spent two days here, the food was awesome, the accommodations comfortable and the proximity to animals great! Excellent, attentive staff and loved the evening bonfire. Great weather too .... animals were right on the road in and out of the camp - elephants even tore down a tree!

We used Enticing Adventures to book our trip to Africa. We climbed Kilimanjaro then spent six days on a safari. Three of those days were spent in the Serengeti and at Halisi camp. The area that they picked was absolutely perfect to encounter wildlife. Before even arriving to the campsite we ran into so many animals including elephants, lions, and...

It's definitely a unique experience to sleep in a tent while hearing the lions, hyenas and who knows what else right outside. The location is beautiful. The food and amenities were great and the staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in this wonderful camp.

These tents are terrific - not up to the standard of Tortilis but they are still very comfortable with internal toilet and shower. This place has great bar and dining facilities - the food was great and the lunch boxes were a full on feed We were there in early March and it was starting to get very dusty do...

With Halisi there is no mistaking you are in the middle of the wild Serengeti bush. At night, you may hear buffalo chomping on the grass right ouside your tent, or lions roaring, or hyenas laughing. Take earplugs if you are a light sleepr. The tents are relatively spartan but very comfortable with private bucket showers and a small private...

You get the real experience of being in the bush at this tented camp. There's no permanent structure here, even for the meal area; all the kitchens and dining areas are tents, too. As others have mentioned, we too heard lions right near camp, but we always felt safe: they provide staff to escort you to your tent after dark....

Top location for a stay in the Serengeti NP. This tented camp has is well equipped with decent beds. The campfire every night was a good place to exchange great stories with fellow travellers. And all the sounds at night of wild animals, especially the lions, are AMAZING!!

Feeling like Dr Livingstone and his contemporaries when resting in a tent in the middle of the bush. As with most tented lodges in the Serengeti, this did not disappoint. As we were driving, we found a lion sleeping and we decided to take a few photos as it was so close by, little did we know that only 20 meters further and we were at our tent :O The staff were friendly and the tents are well...

We stayed here during our safari and were very impressed with the quality of the camp. The veggie food and lunch box was the best I had on the trip. Tents amazingly comfortable and huge! The campfire is a nice tough to encourage conversation after dinner and there's even a bar tent with sofas!
