You won't believe this place. Its in the middle of nowhere set into a huge rock with the most spectacular views, you really feel like you are at one with Tanzania. The welcome was very friendly, the accommodation was brilliant and the food was great. We had never stayed in a place like it. We only stayed one night on...

Stayed here two nights while on safari, excellent camp, very friendly. Lots of little critters around, particularly at night, but so long as you keep tent zipped won't be a bother. Tents large and spacious. Bed comfortable. food good, only complaint was my daughter is a pescitarian, unfortunately this just meant more broccoli instead of meat was given with meals...

we only stayed 1 night at this camp, on our way to the crater, the road to it from the central Serengeti is rough and so is the road from this camp to the crater! It's a pity we didn't really get to enjoy the camp much as we arrived in the late afternoon and departed early the next morning....

My favorite of the places we stayed in Tanzania, Olduvai Camp is a throwback to another time. Built into the rock, the bar, main lodge and observation platforms offered incredible views of the surrounding plains. There are 17 tents and ours was spacious, well insulated against the chilly nights and mornings and had en suite toilet and shower. Make time...

We stayed here in January 2016 for two nights as part of a 7 day safari. It was my husband, my mother, his mother and I. This was a great place to see wildlife. There were zebra in the background and their hoof prints right up to the tent in the morning. There are hyrax to see particularly if you...

This place is a must if in the area. The setting was so unique and peaceful. Our tent was very comfortable and secure and the bathroom was great. The wind was really blowing when we went to bed, but we zipped ourselves in, opened the window flaps and slept like babies. The staff was very friendly and the meals good....

After a long day going through the ngorongora crater and seeing all its beauty and wildlife, we stopped for just an evening here. What a great camp. Awesome views and the Maasai people who worked there were absolutely incredible. Food was 9 out of 10. Had a Bon fire after dinner and got to talk with the Maasia. They wanted...

It is a great and exotic lodge! It's lost in the middle of the nature. The big rocks reminds of the Lion King ! The view from there is really nice and it feels good to be there. You may want to have a torch light to go back to your tent at night. The staff was nice.

We spent 3 nights in February at this small Maasai camp arranged by Go2Tanzania. It had spectacular 360 degree views from the various verandas on the kopje and we had 3 days of amazing game viewing whilst here seeing the wildebeest calving, cheetahs, lions and even wild dogs to name but a few. Our tent, food and service were great...

This lodge is run by Maasai. Service is nice and friendly. Not cheap, but location is great for exploring Olduvai Gorge and the Ngorogoro crater. As always when among wildlife, guards follow you around at night with big lights for safery. Went on the "walk with maasai" that was very interesting.
