On a big plot in Northern Harare. A great room, nice open common space, great outside area. It was bit too cold to use the pool, but it looked great. Clean, great internet, good breakfast. Extremely friendly and open couple running the guest lodge. Sem Levy is a short 5 minute (5 USD) ride away from the lodge.

Jacana gardens was a lovely home away from home where I spent a couple of weeks for work travel. Rooms are thoughtfully decorated and spacious, common areas are comfortable and inviting...it's a relaxing place (especially after two weeks in rural areas). I felt very well looked after by Rian and the staff. I also joined the gym at Sam Levy's...

I have stayed at Jacana several times while in Harare from work. It's lovely home away from home. Rian is very caring and friendly. You can get a nice home cooked meal in the evening. And the internet works well! Best value for money in Harare!

After a long journey from the south of Zimbabwe, I was pleasantly surprised by this oasis. Zimbabwe is an amazing place, infrastructure needs a lot of work, but there are pockets of excellence to be found. Like Jacana Garden Guest Lodge. I would highly recommend this guest house. Thanks for a lovely stay - hope to see you soon.

I recently visited Harare on the very sad occasion of my Dad's passing. Jacana Gardens' hospitality, gorgeous grounds with great art, simple beauty and zenlike feel actually turned my visit into a rather enjoyable one. Go figure! Ok hitting the well stocked honesty bar hard a couple of times as my brother and I reminisced deep into the peaceful night...

I stayed at Jacana Gardens for about a week in December 2016, and had an absolutely lovely stay. Rian and Willem were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the house and gardens are a beautiful, peaceful place to stay.
