Spent 4 nights here on a recent trip. I was picked up at the airport and the driver patiently waited for me while I reported my missing bag. The staff also helped me call Ethiopian Airlines tons of times! Restaurant downstairs is reliable and the WiFi was generally very fast. Staff were all very nice and helpful, and were responsive...

Overpriced, shabby and noisy place to stay. Was kept awake at night by dogs barking and noise from guests walking up and down the staircase and corridors. At night time out came the cockroaches. The hotel offers airport transfers but from my experience don't expect them to turn up on time, or even for the right flight! Plus side: free...

Stayed here on my first trip to Addis for court and returned for the Embassy appointment with my 15 month old son. I traveled alone on both trips and after the first stay at the AGH I was certain to return, never even considered any other hotel or guest house. Yonas, Gigi, and Yosef were wonderful hosts and treated my...

Outstanding staff and service. I traveled to Addis alone and felt very comfortable and safe at this property. My room was clean and the service was great; everyone was friendly and helpful. This property is a guest house and the price for the amount of space and kind service is unbeatable. I will return to the AGH on my next...

I booked this guest house based on the great reviews I had read. When we pulled up at night the outside of the guest house looked a little sketchy. The room, while clean, was nowhere near hotel standards. If you stay here, remember you are at a guest house and not a fancy hotel. I was a little worried at...

As twin rooms were overbooked, we were moved to a 2-Bedroom apartment for the same price of $70.  Normally that room would cost $95 for two occupants.   Airport pick up was very reliable and The manager was very welcoming and helpful.  The free laundry service is also a big plus, and the location is very convenient, but also a...

The have a restaurant that is on the first floor and serves wonderful Ethiopian food. The owner speaks English and was a very friendly and accommodating guy. Any...

My wife and I spent both our times in Ethiopia at the Addis Guest House. We stayed in the suite which was plenty of space and the staff was very friendly. The General Manager was very accommodating and always helpful. The price is very reasonable and close to the airport. The free wifi was great. The cheeseburger and fries are...

Stayed here for four nights. Great little place in an interesting area of town. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially in the on-site restaurant. Breakfast was included each morning, and was quite good. We would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Addis Guest House for one night at the beginning and one night at the end of a trip to Ethiopia. The service was very good, with a very convenient free airport pick up. All the staff were friendly, and there was a nice breakfast included in the price. We had a large room with living room...

“suites on front quieter in spite of being on main street, rooms on back can have sounds from kitchen staff etc till closing at 10:30pm”

“We stayed in rooms 302 and 201 ( suites) you have street view access. Its great for people watching. It does get a little noisy but not too bad. I would recommend bringing a power chord bar with your converter to have multiple plug in outlet options. We were there to finalize our adoption and it was very budget sensitive and convenient for us. The suites allowed enough room for our child to play. The water pressure in the showers isn't like the states but it does the job. The rooms have their own refrigerators and t.v. My wife and I preferred room 201 vs 302 but both were nice. Their pick up service to and from the airport was also convenient. They also provide laundry service if you don't want to overpack.”
