I would not recommend this hotel by option, if you can go to another place around it then do it, lousy people and the food takes forever, good for budget travels and close to main road. I would not recommend going around at night, thieves and gangs are very common to meet.

Cheap but complicated hotel with extremely long corridors, very difficult to carry bags. Good restaurant, good internet. Average higiene but my room had a bathtub instead of shower. The service is slow but honest.

I visited Ras Hotel many times and had lunch and drinks. The food is average. I especially like their garden for having a coffee with friends. And the parking lot is in a great location and safe to park your car! But recently they charge high for parking and I think it should be free parking.

There is one of rare city center hotels were you can boock single room for only around 20$ a nignt. It's a good opportunity for somme one who like visite Addis Abeba's monuments and historical places close of the hotel.

The location is great, central Addis Ababa. The rooms could definitely be better but compared to other hotels in Addis they are OK. The breakfast is good and the restaurant provides good lunch and dinner for those who want. Ras is a busy place where a lot of people meet which is nice. First time I stayed here was in...

Please, please, please, could you please reset the wifi-router. I need to send a document today! Please, only one simple reset....... NO! So, I had to move (taxi) to another place in the middle of the night to get connected to the internet. 1950? No, this was 2016 in Ras Hotel Addis Abeba. Another guest simply pulled the plug and...

Stayed here on two occasions over a 2 week period, as part of a group tour. Had to change rooms twice due to bed bugs and due to a toilet that could not flush. Staff in the reception speak very poor English, communication is a big problem. Rooms are noisy and not particularily well cleaned. Everything is in desperate need...

My sister and I had reserved a double bed a few days before arriving. Upon arrival, we were told that as sisters, we had to take a twin room. Instead of 50 dollars, the price was suddenly 60 dollars. We still don't know whether this is a cultural thing or just another way to get more money. In the end...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel twice in the last two weeks, not a very good experience. On arrival, on both occasions, we had to hump our suitcases up two floors, there is no lift, and though there were a lot of staff hanging around in the lobby, only one available to handle a large group. On both...

The central location is definitely the biggest advantage of this hotel. The service is also good and there is an ATM right in front of the hotel. The rooms are rather poor or at least some rooms since the Ras has so many rooms. My room came with some mould on the walls. Wifi was only available in the lobby....
