Stayed for a week and really liked it. The room was nice and the area perfect! Very central and close to a big (for being addis) supermarket, nice restaurants and hotels. There are some good gyms around were you can work out for 100birr/time.its also very close to the famous ethiopien traditional restaurant "2000 habesha". Many addis-tours have their meeting...

Traveled for work in Addis and stayed for few days in this very secluded Guest House, booked for me through my colleagues in Addis. I LOVED it. Its not a fashion/boutique/fancy hotel, but for the quality of service, attention, kindness, dedication, approach and homey feeling offered, its worth a try and it won't disappoint. The owner is extremely friendly and...

Very friendly guest house and accessible to Shola market. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and there is coffee available all day. You are not staying in the Hilton or even a premier inn but you have to adjust your mindset in Ethiopia. I would stay here again and that is very likely as I am constantly visiting Ethiopia. I would...

Me and my wife stayed here for a couple of weeks. The guesthouse is nice and tidy, but not fancy. The restaurant is ok, but very expensive compared to other great places in Addis Ababa. The area is a little off compared to other attractions in Addis Ababa, but still in walking distance.

I stayed in early October as part of a large group doing some charity work in Addis and we were split into double rooms and apartments. The accommodation was basic but clean and the food was excellent, much better than most of the restaurants we ate in. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place with...

The Yeka is freezing cold. The first night I had to wear gloves in bed. The Yeka serves very salty food. If you want dinner, you have to order by 12 noon! The Yeka is overpriced. A soda cost 20 birr - double the price of a kiosk. The Yeka's generator is ineffective and usually cuts out soon after the...

people says: It is too easy for hotels and guest houses to write their own reviews, or pay others to write them. I X my heart , this isn't the case. Just got back from ADDIS ababa . I had a lovely time stayed at Yeka. Rooms are cleaned Daily, the price is affordable and negotiable ( discus it with Elisabeth)...

I stayed at Yeka for a month with a group of 4 other students. We stayed in the four bedroom flats. The rooms were very nice, though one room is more like a closet. The flat had 3 bathrooms which was an unexpected surprise. The rooms were kept impeccably clean for the entire time we were there. The staff was...

I am a wheelchair user, I was told the room was accessible with only one step, turned out to be five. We were told that due to some new governmental rule we could not buy sim cards in Addis Ababa. Untrue. We were told we had to go to the Sheridan if wanted more than 4000birr from an ATM. Rubbish....
