We booked 3 nights at One World, and it was my first experience of Gambia. The 'room' was more of a suite, with a separate sitting room and a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast on the balcony was a great start to every day. The honesty box system of recording drinks taken from the fridge worked well - and although...

We enjoyed our stay here. We had the large upstairs apartment, with separate living area and AC in the bedroom. Good value accomodation not far from the beach with a few places to eat and drink within a short walk. Breakfast was good and the pool was good for a cool dip. Not really an eco-lodge though.

I arrived at Banjul Airport on August 26, 2016. I asked the Taxi Driver to drop me at the One World Village and stay there for a while, if no room is available then I had another Guest House in mind to stay for a two weeks visit. Luckily I was the only guest in this Guest House arrived on...

Our second stay at One World Village Guest House in Cape Point Gambia. Again we were met at the airport by Mustafa with a cheery smile and a warm welcome back to The Gambia. He drove us to One World after we had arranged by email with him for an airport 'pickup' The journey doesn't take long and we were...

I stayed one night in the room in the rear building. The place was clean, due to ground floor location not bright and I had to close the bathroom door as most water outlets were leaking and made dripping sounds at night. What I did not like was that the fan was not in working order, i.e. it only worked...

One World Village is located in the center of Cape Point, close to the beach, the bus stop and the many bars, restaurants and markets. So basically, it's easy to get around and most important, it's a quiet place, ideal to relax. The staff was very professional, they advised us on what to do and how to do it. They...

We had a very nice stay for two weeks in this peaceful place situated close to beach, restaurants and even town, in beginning of february 2014. The room upstairs, for two, divided into two - one inner sleeping part with a fan and wardrobe with access to bathroom, and one entering part with fridge, sofa, two chairs and table. The...

I stayed at this property at the end March beginning April for a week having previously stayed at Ocean Bay. I liked the area, being quieter, and with a lovely large stretch of beach. I booked directly with the owner via PayPal and corresponded with her by email with questions which were answered quickly. I originally booked the dowstairs double...
