We spent 5 nights on the Island fishing everyday. Fishing is what had brought us to the Island as we had heard that the place was exceptionally good for certain types of fishing. The fishing did not let us down and we consistently caught fish after fish until we felt our arms were about to drop. The accommodation was as...

While you are in Guinea Bissau you must have to go to this island. The hotel is fascinating. Since in the beginning we were well received after a long and tiring boat trip with lots of salt water showers. Prepare yourself with raincoat for 4 hours of boat trip. The cuisine is great. They serve big portions and they really...

This eco-charity hotel is located in a beautiful island, if you love nature then it is worth going, i would recommend a 2 to 4 days trip, basically this is the only hotel in the island (8 rooms) so you wont find many people to talk with or things to do. The beach is beautiful, calm waters, white sand, you...

The "Hotel" consists of just 8 basic rooms with bathrooms, and a bar/dining area. there are seats under a shelter on the beach which the local people tend to use. I was not impressed by the...

This is a lodge style "hotel" run by an eco charity situated on Orango Island about 60 kms by boat from a boat-launch near Bissau. I had gone with a friend for fishing, booked thro World Sport Fishing. We launched from Mar Azul and badly lacerated our feet wading out to the boat , so WEAR PLASTIC SANDALS! It is...

Just returned from my second visit arranged by World Sport Fishing. Missed connecting flight and was delayed in Casablanca for 24 hours. I have never met such unhelpful rude people in my life, not just at the airport but at the hotel as well, Arab with a French influence. WSF were amazing and did everything in there control to make...

Think twice before you come here. The big rooms with well equipped bathrooms,so cold water only, are reasonable priced with full board 35000 CFA per person but their excursions are extremely expensive. The hippo-tour is 155000 CFA (ca.235€) and would be reasonable only if you in a group. Don't count on other people to share cos when I was there...
