We loved staying at Le Pavillion de l'Emyrne. The old building was charming, and we really enjoyed the complimentary massage. We also had a nice simple supper in the restaurant adjoining the hotel. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious, but the kids room on the top floor not so much.

Old house restored and furnished with style. Excellent small and cosy restaurant, I recommend the chicken with vanilla sauce,it is unforgettable! Plus the chef tells you the recipie. The breakfast too is complete and unforgettable cause served in the old part of the house between the hall-entrance and the winter-garden. The staff is friendly and helpfull, the situation is great...

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and its courtyard is beautiful. Room # 15 is in a separate building, but still off the same courtyard and has a beautiful balcony that overlooks another hotel across the street. Room 16 is huge, but a lot of stuff in the room did not work well (in Dec. 2016)---like the faucet handle...

The Pavillon de l'Emyrne is located in a beautiful mansion, in typical Malagasy prestigious architectural style. The team is great and very welcoming, you even get a free massage on arrival! The restaurant is also very nice. The room was also beautiful, although the bathroom did not have the usual artisanal soaps provided in similar boutique hotels, that was a...

I generally do not appreciate older buildings but this one is a fantastic little boutique hotel with all the amenities. It is a little pricey by Mada standards. However, it is nicely located on a hill with a great view. Price is still under $100 per night...(negotiate if you can) and the room has all amenities like wifi, a/c, hot...

My son and I arrived to spend two nights in this lovely hotel. There is a beautiful garden courtyard and historic architecture. The breakfast was very nice, and we had dinner in the adjoins restaurant, where they were able to accommodate a vegetarian meal and my son's nut allergies. It was a charming beginning to our holiday in Madagascar.

We needed to spend a couple of nights in Tana before and after heading north and the Pavillon is a beautiful old building, a nice place to pass the time. Our room had tv, Internet, hot water and was very spacious. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, though we were told the hotel restaurant is very good...

We stayed here for 1 night only but had an excellent time. The room was very large with a large terrace mini bar and tv. The menu at the restaurant was good and the food excellent. The hotel is in a quiet location in the middle level of Tana and offers a small buffet breakfast. Overall a great stay and...

I've spent a week in this hotel end of April 2016. I had left my handbag in my room because I had been advised that it was not safe to go out with it at night in Tananarive. My money has been stolen in my room. And the hotel keeper has denied to believe me and done nothing to try...
