We stayed at the hotel 7 days. Great Eco tourism concept but access road is poor dirt road 5 km long. The staff were excellent especially receptionist & breakfast restaurant staff. Nothing too much trouble. The swimming pools & recreational facilities are its major plus. Very clean & comfortable. Wifi was average ... Kept dropping out & not acceptable in...

This resort has cabins spread over a big area, just like a small village. Our cabin was clean and spacious with air conditioning and a nice bathroom with hot and cold water. But one of the other cabins had a strange layout. The door to the cabin let you in directly to the bathroom with the toilet as the first...

Very relaxing place, great escape from city. The swimming pools are the nicest I've seen in Bamako and good is food (especially during the day, but not so much in the evenings). There is also the possibility of buying local crafts in a shop.

I've been to Kangaba several times, enjoying the kayaking, pools and food. Staff have always been very brusque and sometimes rude, I never would have guessed to what extent the owners and staff are gravely incompetent when it comes to guest safety and security. One day in December 2013 a group of friends went to Kangaba for the weekend, when...

Hello Jessica Le Campement is open from 1 January 2008. It is a very large area (20 hectares) which offers many sports and potentially hazardous activities as canoeing, ropes course, climbing, ziplining, paintball, archery ... not counting 3 pools ... And it's our first serious accident : I do regret it, but that does not mean Le Campement is a...

We have been to le campement on two occasions - the first time for a weekend and the second time for New Years. Although the pools and the general environment is nice (an escape from the city), we always got the impression that the rooms were dirty (wig hair on the pillows, unchanged sheets, etc.). On our second visit, we...

Kangaba is located approx 30 min from downtown Bamako. By the mountains, it is a beautiful site that allows visitors to hike, walk around, enjoy pools, play sports, and grab a bite. A few of us were really looking forward to the opening of the second pool on panorama deck. Back in august 2013, we were told the new pool...

Campement Kangaba is a great rural getaway. I went yesterday for the first time (October, 2013) for the opening of the fabulous new pool. Kangaba is a fairly large property on the edge of forest reserve area just about 30 minutes drive north of Bamako along the Segou road. (Go past the Africa Tower to where the road turns from...

We live in Bamako and Kangaba was just a short 30 minute drive away. Even though it's so close to the sprawling city it seems worlds away--it's extremely quiet and secluded. The owners have done a marvelous job creating a rustic retreat with a modern edge. Our hut was circular with a thatched roof, but with all of the amenities...

Very quiet and relaxing place, helpful and friendly staff. We stayed there twice in 2 weeks, getting there pretty late, and it was no problem whatsoever. a bit far from Bamako, if you have no car or a bike it would cost you about 10 euros and 20/25 mins to get to the centre. But.. this is Africa, and Bamako...

Nice location and friendly staff. However, taking too much time to be served at the restaurant put us off... half an hour for the first bottle of beer, another 1h30min for just a "plat du jour" (today's lunch or dinner)!! If small children are to stay overnight, make sure to bring food for them.
