A great place to spend time in prior to or after a hectic time touring in Namibia. Great staff, quirky but comfortable rooms and good food and wine will ensure that your stay is more than enjoyable. Artwork and wildlife combine to create a wonderful atmosphere and less than 1 hour from the airport this location is a great alternative...

This is the ideal stop-over in the Kalahari desert and of course it's worth staying longer than one night only. Beautifully designed lodge and swimming pool, lapa, wine cellar and spacious chalets with African decor. Bettina and her team make you feel at home right from the beginning. The food is excellent and also vegetarians will be satisfied here (although...

Eningu was our last stop in Namibia before leaving for home. And it was just what we needed. A little secluded, immersed in the environment, small, quiet, boutique, well appointed and great service. We only had the one night stay but felt totally recharged the next day. Great little oasis. Pool was wonderful and relaxing. The staff were super friendly...

We spent the last night of our trip at Eningu. We received a very friendly welcome to a delightful lodge - tea with cake was out in the dining room when we arrived. The rooms are very nicely done, full of character while also containing conveniences such as kettle with tea and coffee. Supper was served in front of a...

Loved this lodge which we used for our last stop before going home (1hr from the airport). The rooms are large and beautifully furnished, there is a pool and hide overlooking a waterhole where you can watch the birds. There are binoculars to borrow and there are nature walks around the local area. The wifi was probably the best of...

The clayhouse is beautifully decorated, with a strong sense for local art, very comfortable and intimate. The owner is very welcoming and available. Felt like guests in someone's house. Sundowner terrace for relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets. Nice pool to dive into as you arrive from the heat of the road. Cute independent cottages. Nice home-cooked food - they even...

We stayed at Eningu for 3 nights as a mini break. It was just what we were looking for, not too busy and just an hour from Windhoek airport. The food was mostly very good - it was fresh, varied and well presented. Quite nice actually just to have one choice based upon what could be sourced and was available...

This is an unusual and charming place, all built out of clay obviously, with a beautiful communal area and a well-designed pool, and well-appointed accommodation huts. It's not big, and therefore there's less chance of encountering a large group. The owner, Bettina, is a charming and helpful host, and was very helpful to us when we had an emergency at...

We stayed here at the end of a self-drive safari. It is close to Windhoek airport where we dropped off our rental car and took a flight back home. It is a great place to unwind and relax after being on the road. It is a charming little lodge with rustic decor. It is the little thoughtful touches that make...

“Room 9 is the family room with a double and two singles (built as clay lounge beds) plus a little sitting area - although you need to put the sofa cushions on the stone floor if small children are at risk of rolling out. It's the furthest from reception so super quiet, but you need a torch to get there in the evening!”
