Just returned from 2 days at this Location. It clearly exceeded expectations in all categories. The staff was always helpful and made it possible to enjoy our stay to the max. Food ? Just fantastic. Waiters? Just so friendly and nice. Guides? We did a few activities and our guides Jan and Salomon did everything to make all of them...

We visited this place for a family gathering and stayed a few nights, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I found the atmosphere a bit cold and just could not get warm with it. The interior was very creatively done, but a bit run down. I found for the room prices some maintenance needs to be...

At the N/a’an ku sê Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary our main aims are to keep the wild in the wild and, where possible, to return the wild to the wild. Tragically, in some instances it is just not possible for an animal to be returned to the freedom that it came from. This is so often the case with the...

I spent a few hours one morning on the predator feeding tour. I did not stay at this lodge. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was vaguely disappointed. My guide, Salomon, was very passionate and informative. We saw 5 species of animals--cheetah, dogs, lynx, lions, leopard, and the baboons, who have been raised to be vegetarian. I...

If you love interacting with wildlife this is the place for you. The arranged activities are all great- and with your money going towards the further conservation of wildlife, it is money well spent! The chalet we stayed in was huge! 4 living spaces and 2 bedrooms- and a view onto open veld with a water hole and wildlife. What...

N/a'an ku se is a wildlife sanctuary - it offers several activities based on the wildlife that it harbors, including watching how carnivores are being fed, or meeting up with a family of cheetahs. There are a couple of compact - but very nice - lodges close to the main building, and then a variety of larger houses across the...

Our last day in Namibia, due to proximity to the airport - 23 km, 45 min - was spent at Na'an ku se Lodge. The reception was sort of weird with its style looking like a grocery cashier but functioned effectively. The young receptionist lady (German or Dutch) was very professional and welcoming. We were led to our room immediately....

My wife and I visited here as part of our belated honeymoon but we had a mixed experience: the lodge itself and staff there were wonderful, but on our 'behind the scenes' tour (which was on the pricey side too), we observed anti-semmitic comments being made and joked about by staff at the sanctuary. My wife, who is Jewish, found...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The N/a’an ku se Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is near the Airport and central Windhoek, on a 3.200 hectare big reserve. We offer Carnivore Feeding Tours, Bushman stories and stargazing dinners, Cheetah experiences and a “Behind the Scenes with Marlice” tour. Choose to stay in one of our six individual chalets or one of our eight exclusive holiday homes. We offer a dining area with award-winning cuisine, stunning views, bar and swimming pool. A delightful blend of rich ethnicity and modern luxury. The N/a’an ku se Lodge is the only Charity Lodge in Namibia, all profits from our lodge are returned back to our charitable projects. N/a’an ku se supports the local San community and activities are led by the local San. Volunteers looking to help with conservation can join the Volunteer Program offered on the N/a’an ku se Wildlife Sanctuary. The program offers volunteers the rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with and actively participate in the conservation of African wildlife. Volunteers can stay from 2 weeks to 3 months and will have the unique experience to care for our wildlife including a number of lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, caracals and baboons and many more, kept at the Sanctuary because they can unfortunately not be released into the wild again. Both experiences will leave you with great memories of Namibia while aiding in our conservation efforts which better the lives of the local San Bushmen and our animals. The N/a’an ku se Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal place to stay at the beginning or the end of your journey through Namibia. ... more   less
