We decided to start this trip through Namibia over here, we arrived late afternoon, it's conveniently located about 20 km north outside Windhoek. Nice welcome by Carla, we got a small bottle of bubbles to start off, the tents are great, everything is in there for a relaxing stay, even bathrobes.. everything is very clean, outdoor kitchen is well equiped,...

We celebrated my husbands 50th here with friends and had a wonderful time. The luxury tents are very well thought out and despite the heat and no air conditioning, we had a wonderful stay, at night the tents are cool and you sleep well.

a very nice place but with lot of room for improvement. There was no reception when we arrived and only accidentally we managed to get in the property. Strongly advised to call before you arrive. The rooms are very nice, some animals are around and we met a giraffe very closely. It's self catering (we didn't know!) so bring your...

Good day Christian, It was very nice meeting you and thank you for the review. We are listed as a owner managed self-catering lodge on Expedia, where you made the booking and therefore you have to cater for yourself. Kind regards Carla

One of the reasons we picked this place was for the animals, both the African ones and the domestic ones. I loved that they were just all allowed to mingle with the guests and even stay in our room the last night when my husband gave in! Kafey and Hitler are beautiful and made us feel at home. The facilities...

We found we had 6 days up our sleeve after 2 weeks in Capetown before we headed back to Sydney so decided Namibia could be cool to visit. With very little knowledge of Namibia and limited time to prepare we decided to base ourselves in Windhoek and explore Namibia from there (in hind-sight a 6 day road trip would have...

Good location and service. It was very quiet when we arrived, just after the school hols, but it was just what we needed. The kids loved the company of the dogs 🐕 and feeding the giraffes 🐴. As we were traveling through could have done with a basic start pack, tea and coffee, to get bags dropped off and allow...

Really well stocked self catering cottages, very, very comfortable, great size and wonderful beds, stunning views and surrounding. Highlight was feeding the giraffes - Carla was awesome and so helpful. Would highly recommend for couples or families - we were two families with toddlers, and was perfect!

We stayed at Windhoek Game Camp for one night on our way back to South Africa. We were warmly welcomed by Carla and Hitler the Boerboel. The luxury tents are stylishly decorated and the kitchens adequately equipped for a self-catering stay. The short walk to feed the giraffes was a highlight and the sunset from the deck absolutely spectacular. We...
