We arrived after a big day driving and were greeted and shown to our room promptly. We were in one of the lower rooms below the common area, it was spacious and well appointed. The grounds were enormous and there were little areas everywhere, they looked to be well used by guests too. I loved the honesty bar areas and...

Arrived rather tired after a long drive on our last night in Namibia but made to feel very welcome and shown and helped with our luggage to a sumptuous room, very well decorated and furnished including a large, comfy and not too soft bed. Balcony too. Good lighting options. Ample storage including safe. TV. Mini bar. Tea/coffee making. Very good...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in March and April 2016 and had a great stay. I would splurge a bit on the Luxury room (we stayed in the Luxury and Standard Ones) but both were fantastic, Staff were great, excellent breakfast, and beautiful common/pool area. Mathieu their driver associate was also fantastic. A great place to...

We stayed at the Belvedere on the first night of our Namibian adventure. After an exhausting trip from UK we finally arrived at the hotel and were shown to our room. It was an absolute delight, not so much a room as a suite, with exquisite furnishings throughout. The bed was sumptuous and huge and the bathroom.....it was fabulous with...

I stay here regularly when in Windhoek and recommend it to friends and family who come to visit us. Staff are exceptional and the grounds are beautiful. Feels like a home away from home! Highly recommend it!

I always stay at this Hotel as a stopover to or from the airport. The breakfast is amazing. The gardens and surrounds are beautiful, well maintained and elegant. The beds and rooms also very comfortable with quality finishings, I love staying here, always feels like home. Thank you for excellent job!

The BBH is a neat place -- local, helpful, tidy and priced right. It was much cheaper than the standard western hotels in the City and was far more charming and Naimibian than the places my friends stayed. There were occasional problems with the electricity, but overall the glitches were handled well. I would go back if I came back...

A surprisingly good hotel despite not serving evening meals. Smart enough colonial type room and very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and very pleasant people. Swimming pool and attractive garden. A good one night stopover from the airport.

The hotel and the grounds are beautiful and the rooms incredibly comfortable. We arrived in the early afternoon and stayed one night but I wish we could have stayed longer to relax! My only feedback for improvement is that the pool is really great to cool off in but they only have 2 chairs - definitely not enough.

I have stayed at Belvedere several times over the last few years and have only had positive experiences to share. The involvement of the owners makes a visible difference, the staff are always friendly and the breakfasts delightful. This is a true home away from home.
