We stayed here our first night in Namibia. The guest house exceeded our expectations-- Ulla greeted us and got us settled in. She recommended Joe's BeerHouse and called a taxi for us. Breakfast at Monte Bello was very good. They have an espresso machine and so we had great lattes while we were there. I'd definitely stay here again. This... More

This is a lovely, modern, spotlessly clean establishment! Moni welcomed us warmly, was extremely helpful and understanding and made us feel totally at home. The beds are wonderful , and despite the room and bathroom being small, it has absolutely everything one might need. Uncapped wifi, all kinds of plugs, a mini fridge and safe. The coffee is superb and... More

After a long flight & transport from the airport, the Guesthouse was a welcome retreat. The rooms were small but cosy and beds were comfortable. The manager arranged our dinner reservation & taxi and had many helpful hints. Our friends had to change their room the first night due to a sewer like smell, but that was resolved quickly. Due... A very well kept and run guesthouse in Eros, probably the most quiet suburb in Windhoek. You can hear the birds chirping away in the mornings, thankfully the guests are not noisy so you may even think you are the only one staying there (been there twice). The staff are courteous and are natural my charismatic. They try to create... More

Myself and my girlfriend spent three nights here and we really liked it. It's located in a nice quiet residential area of Windhoek. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the nighttime gate security guard made it feel very safe for us and our car - good secure parking available on site. The double room was very clean and... More

Stayed here after 14 days of non stop travelling around Namibia. On arrival we were greeted very nicely by the owners who were all very nice throughout the whole stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast too was excellent served in a very nice breakfast room with a either a buffet or eggs or... More

Monte Bello Guesthouse was a huge surprise to us because it deserves better ranking compared to some places we've been to that rank higher than it- it's worth every minute and every penny. We decided to give it a try after our usual options in Windhoek turned out fully booked - We would have otherwise never discovered this beautiful gem... More

Everything I could ask from a Guesthouse in Windhoek. VERY friendly, professional, impeccably clean and family run. Go there when you need a place to stay the night in Windhoek. They really go out of their way to help you and make your stay as nice as possible. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay there again!

We were well looked after and I was struck by the good taste in construction and decor. A long leisurely breakfast rolled on and we had good chats with guests and people who ran the place. It hit just the right note.
