I cannot remember the last time I encountered such apathetic staff. Everyone is sucking on lemons Miserable, disinterested, apathetic. The hotel itself has an enormous potential. Really interesting building, lots of history, beautiful views. Rooms can do with a good clean. A double bed consists of two very narrow single beds which the maid isn't bothering to align. The drapes over...

Hotel Heinitzburg his located close to the centre of town and has spectacular views from it's terrace. There is parking available. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as well as being well appointed. Check-in and checking out was speedy and performed by particularly pleasant staff. The arrival glass of sparkling wine was much appreciated after a six hour drive. This,...

Great location, great food, room very good, staff friendly and food excellent, pool a little dated. Great views of the city from the terraces. Joe's Beerhouse is well worth a visit but ask the hotel to book as very popular.

Positives Lovely staff Great location on hill overlooking the city Comfortable bed Lovely terrace and pool Not so great All standard rooms are interconnecting. Despite assurances I would not hear anything I heard neighbour get up at 6 am, speak on the phone and tv. Not so nice Food at dinner rather ambitious and was just ok. Very convenient hotel...

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is very quaint, clean, and the staff service level is impeccable. The room is very well appointed and spacious. The hotel has great views of the city. As a cat lover, i really enjoyed meeting their kitty cat. Also, the hotel has a wonderful restaurant not to be missed - Leo's at...

After a long day, up early ...to airport to catch flight to Namibia, normal check in stresses and a flight to Namibia we felt a tad flat by the time we arrived at the hotel. Great reception by staff and the Suites were very comfortable( Bit of an odd odor prevailed the room for awhile until the aircon helped dissipate...

We stayed at the Heinitzburg on our first night in Namibia. What a great way to start a trip to Namibia. This hotel is situated high on a hill above the centre of Windhoek, with fantastic views across the city from the Garden Terrace where you can have lunch, afternoon tea or drinks at sunset. Both the night and day...

After taking a safari for 2 weeks around the country, staying in this luxurious hotel was made even sweeter after some of our camping! Expensive but worth it, the food menu was also incredible - hard to leave the comfort of our own beds!

So glad to have my last meal in Namibia (after 3 week trip) in this beautiful, historic hotel. Tried their Springbok Carpaccio (115 rand) - it was a very generous serving and so delicious. They also had an impressive cellar that can hold a private party. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Should I make it back to Namibia,...

I did not stay here but we had a fabulous dinner and wine tasting. The views from the terrace are great but we were more concerned with the delicious menu. The game for both starter and main course was beautifully cooked and presented.
