This slogan is still in my ear when I think about my time in Namibia. Wadadee made my time even better. I learnt that Wadadee means something like together and that’s actually what it is. You share a house with other young people, you live there together. Most of the people are volunteers or interns, so they live there for...

Staying at Wadadee was like being at a home away from home. Everyone at Wadadee was so friendly and helped make my experience what it was. Such amazing people and incredible opportunities, I highly recommend Wadadee to all!

During my time in Namibia I did an internship in the local state hospital and I stayed for 4 month in a dorm room at the Wadadee Guesthouse in Katutura. It's an absolute recommendation, especially if you plan to stay in Windhoek for longer then just a few days and you're looking for more then another normal downtown backpacker hostel....

Stayed here in October 2013. Very friendly staff and well organised under the new Management since April 2013. We also took in some of their safaris and were very pleased with the organisation of the whole holiday and travel arrangements. Would recommended to anyone on a budget or looking to do voluntary service and cant afford a hotel.

Stayed at Wadadee House for all of January. Interesting location being in Katatura. Enjoyed the friendly and hard working staff. Thought is was poorly managed though. Half of the shared kitchen equipment/appliances did not work. Rooms we had reserved several months previous were not available. Not much effort or thought being put into making this house more comfortable. Pretty much...

Staying at Wadadee made my Windhoek experience even better - I found a family away from home. Wadadee is not a hostel, it's more like a shared house, we cook together, go out, have BBQs, watch movies on the projector, go food shopping together. But there are quiet times as well. Wadadee offers different rooms, 1,2 or 3 bed rooms...

Consider Wadadee House as a lodge rather than a hotel. Some of the accommodation is shared although there are single rooms as well. There is staff available 24/7. There are communal rooms including a kitchen, a computer area, and a living room. There are fridges for guest to store their food supplies. This is an excellent place for exchange students or...

“Rooms that are farthest from the electronic gate are the quietest. If you travel during their winter months do not expect to use the pool as it is not heated. There is a washer and a place outdoors to hang clothes to dry. Guests are expected to keep their own rooms tidy and to clean up after themselves if they use the communal kitchen to prepare meals. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The environment is safe. Transportation to and from town and on longer excursions can be arranged during your stay. Good value for the cost. Early morning coffee on the upstairs porch watching the sunrise is the best...”
