Wasn't sure whether to rate this 2/5 or 3/5. Pluses are the staff who were friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent but the breakfast less appetising. The room was comfortable and recently refurbished. Downsides - this is probably OK for a 1 night stopover but it is a really quiet hotel and there's not much to see or do...

This is the only hotel which is in list of approved hotels to stay in Abuja due to concerns around safety etc and being a french company they take it serious. Found to be just ok. can do better considering 4star standard. but nice and decent stay and good African food (spicy). Nice staff

Stayed here as a guest, on my latest trip to Abuja. The rooms were standard...able to sleep though when the music was toned down. This is a busy hotel and it's noisy. The rooms are adequate and tidy. The breakfast was poor and not up the normal South African franchise enjoys down south. And the restaurant service is extremely slow...eggs...

I went to Abuja on business and spent the weekend with family. Important to note this hotel is no longer part of the Protea group. It still has the Protea feel, I was made to feel very welcome! Small comfortable and safe in Abuja is how I describe the hotel! Found in the residential area quiet and secluded, good, but...

I read a couple of reviews and the word "tatty" seems to come up very often. That may have been true in the past but the hotel is going through a complete refurbishment process and the new rooms have nothing tatty about them. (As I write the second and third floor are fully refurbished, the first floor is the only...

Just stayed here and very happy with this hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable and also very quiet, while the room service was fast and the food arrived hot. Gym is very small but has working equipment and good a/c. All in all a very comfortable stay

Stayed at this hotel twice now and they are slowly making improvements. Breakfast is quite good and staff very pleasant and plenty of visible security. Rooms are ok, a bit dark and my view was a corrugated roof and a few large gas canisters? A bit too close for my liking! The aircon unit is great but it's unfortunately situated...

The rooms are shabby and need a face lift, badly...... The good news is they're getting just that as the hotel is going through a major refurbishment! The reception and public areas are fine and the buffet breakfast was good, and dinner was delicious, I'm told by my colleges. The best thing about this place is the staff- they are...

It is almost impossible to find any decent accommodation in Abuja so, if I had to rate this hotel anywhere else in the world, I would have given it a 2* rating. Pros - excellent staff. Good food. Free internet. Comfortable bed with good linens. Fridge and iron in room. Flat screen tv. Cons - constant banging from on-site building...
