Stayed here 1 night since my originally booked hotel could not honour my reservation. This hotel in need of repair. The rooms are dingy and dark. The mini fridge didn't work. I can't recommend this place at all

Hotel is still under renovation and it s now a Sheraton hotel ( official opening December 2017 ) .. Just come to spend the day with family and enjoy the pool with the kids ... Pool is beautiful. The material in good condition .. The staff's bar came several times asking if we wanted something ... The beach was clean...

This site is the best located venue in Dakar. Beautiful seaside, very nice pool but the good ends there. I went there with my family from the Sunday menu by the sea. Price is outrageous for a very average menu. Service is mediocre. Plenty of staff but you wonder what they are here for. The buildings (and the staff!) need...

Lack of maintenance all over the place, from the parking lot to the bathroom. It must have been majestic in it good days but today, the only good thing about this hotel is the location, just a few meters away from the farthest west point in Africa's mainland. The internet is TOO BAD, if there's internet at all, it may...

Unfortunately spent 6 nights at this over priced not well managed hotel with never ending excuses at the front desk, Not even a complementary bottle of water in the old smelly room. They nickle and dime ya there. Hotel that seems to be under renovation forever, They have been pushing this rumor that Sheraton is going to buy them or...

This was once a Club Med, and the layout attests to the earlier focus as a beach location. People probably didn't come here to spend time in the really small, poorly lit and spare rooms. Showers were good and if you spend your day at the beach, that is what you want. We were there for business, so internet was...

The location is great, it is the only hotel directly with beach access and it is possible to take a bath there in the sea, which was surprisingly warm. It got a great pool area. The food and breakfast is average, but the brunch buffet on sundys excellent. The guests seem to be mostly Europeans, especially French who are meeting...

While staying in Dakar I visited the hotel for the pool and beach area. It costs 5000 CFA for non-guests and it is a nice price since the area is clean, spacious and cozy. All in all that was a good experience.

This is a review about using The Hotel des Almadies pool and beach for the day. The pool area is very spacious. You can can with a party of 4 and feel like you have an area for sitting all to yourself. But if you are coming with little children, beware that the pool doesn't really have an area for...
