I got stuck in this hotel because my flight was cancelled and we were transferred there in the middle of the night. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. The rooms are two storey and reasonably clean. The hotel is very worn out and outdated. It's quite hot and the small aircon unit needs to run for...

The hotel is old, the lift only stops every 3 floors meaning you have to walk up or down to your room, internet is desperately slow... However, the staff is really friendly and the rooms are huge with a great view. Mine had windows on both sides with great view of the coast. It's close to the airport, yes, but...

This was an ideal location for our week-long conference. The bedrooms are large with amazing views out over the bay of Ngor, the staff unfailingly friendly and the restaurant top-notch. It's a huge, imposing building that has a slightly 1970s feel about it, with pleasant gardens and its own section of beach. Depending on the tides and wind, the beach...

Friendly staff but the hotel needs updates. The hotel is old, looks and feels old in fact. Free breakfast was good with plenty to pick from. The room needed to be cleaned!! Nice views! Good location on the beach but the water had a lot of garbage in it. I did enjoy relaxing on the beach. The nice part to...

This is a hotel which I wont forget in a hurry. The room was on two levels with the bed and toilet upstairs and the lounge, bathroom and balcony below. Great view over the Ocean, one could watch the waves breaking on the reef a mile out. Had a nice, quiet little beach where you did not get any hassle....

I was originally supposed to stay at the Pullman Hotel downtown but had a last minute change to Hotel Ngor. I wasn't impressed. Granted, Dakar isn't necessarily a 5-star location but better options are available. Upon arrival my coworker's room wasn't available even though we had paid for the night before our arrival just so our rooms would be ready...

This hotel has a a big advantage for the person who wants to swim or relax at beachside, or perhaps take a quick easy day trip to Ngor Island for some seafood and a swim on that island. The view from the hotel window is also probably the best in Dakar. On many fronts the hotel is average. It is...

The rooms aren't bad looking and are clean enough but this hotel is lacking essential amenities including hot water in the showers, curtains on the bathroom windows, internet in the rooms, and responsive service. I was required to stay here for a business conference and certainly would never recommend this hotel to anyone who is able to choose their own....

I stayed in this hotel for a week during a conference in Dakar. The hotel was booked for us by our organisation and was a bit skeptical especially after reading the reviews but i was actually pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is obviously dated but it has its good points. The staff particularly those at the restaurants were very...

After reading the reviews here, which are 2 years old, I approached with some trepidation! My visit is to attend a conference in the hotel itself, so I had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised. It is vast, mostly empty, and a little quirky. It is certainly NOT a luxury hotel but my room is large and airy and clean....
