We had two nights here and had the cosy Red room. Shows how trusting the Swazi's are, there are no keys to any room !! The staff here are exceptional and cannot do enough for you, always with a smile and laughter. We are in front of the open fire pit and the food was superb. The main camp down...

We stayed one night at Riley's Rock as part of a long trip from Kruger to KZN. Our family of four had the cottage which was lovely but it is true that it is a bit dark and the rooms are much smaller than those in the main building. The cottage is not self-catering so, on reflection I would not...

We slept there one night on our trip to Kapetown, once owned by the husband of the Queen of the Netherlands, it is very authentic, not a modern place with al the comforts, but more like a kolonial place with the feel of those days, BBQ is fantastic, Breakfast also delightful.

This is a must if you are traveling in Swaziland. It takes one back a century in a very good way. Elegant style and very comfortable. The staff are a pleasure to interact with and the food very good. An all round great and relaxing place to be. Add to this the walking, running or cycling trails in the extensive...

We stayed only one night in that beautiful place (wish we had booked two or more nights). We only had a standard room but it was more than convenient. The barbecue under the stars and next to the campfire was a highlight likewise the breakfast next to the fireplace. The main building looks as nice from inside the as it...

The place is dated but that's what you will have seen in the brochure and it's a key element of the charm. If you want air conditioning and white modern bathrooms go somewhere else. Where else would you find an avocado coloured bathroom suite? Our room had a ceiling fan which was quite adequate to keep us cool. Everything was...

Reilly's Rock is a gem sitting on the hilltop steeped in history. A beautiful location and a garden that welcomes klipspringers, red/blue/grey duikers, tortoises, flocks of birds butterflies and bees, not forgetting the resident bushbabies that come down to the roof each evening for their nightly feed. A magical location set in the middle of the Mlilwane wildlife sanctuary. Food...

Reilly's Rock Hilltop Lodge (RRHL) is good but in comparison with similarly priced South African lodges should, and could, be so much better. The lodge location is very good (worth the bumpy road up) and there are good walks directly from the lodge, both short and long, offering outstanding views. The lodge is in the centre of Mbabane reserve which...

We stayed with our family in the beautiful lodge in the garden. The lodge has an authentic living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms, both with a bathroom. Staying at Reillys rock is going back in time. If you are all about modern comfort maybe this is not the place for you. We just loved it. The staff makes...
