I went twice visiting Uganda before and both times I choose that hotel its in the heart of Kampala that nice city . that hotel is very cheap but unluckily they didn't got an elevator also no safe box ...otherwise you will enjoy everything starting from friendly stuff very helpful warm water ....sorry also take care restaurant closes at about...

we chose to stay in this hotel for 2 nights pre and 1 night post a safari and Gorilla tracking in Bwindi. Our late arrival to Kampala but a swift pick up by our travel company and we arrived at JBK. On arrival we had to wake the receptionist, we checked in eventually and were told we had to pay...

If you a good and safe hotel in the center of Kampala and if you prefer spending your money for other things than sleeping JBK Hotel is a good choice. The rooms are quite big, bathrooms really nice with all time hot water (do not forget to switch heater on!), internet is available, AC too and receptionist are all very...

A very well located hotel, that is reasonably neat, good bathrooms, hot water available. Wireless internet is free and fast. Breakfast not too good. Quiet at night, despite being in the city. Close to all attractions. There is a mall close-by.

I did a review of Aponye Hotel where a an air-conditioned double goes for $30 USD per night. For the extra $20 USD, the JBK hotel on Luwum Street across from the ABC Capital Bank and Barclays Bank is well worth it. Why? For the extra $20 USD you get a free breakfast (at Jacquie's restaurant on the 3rd floor)...
