Just out of the main area which was excellent as very quiet but a quick walk to the hub bub. The staff were excellent and the room was great. It's a budget hotel with a budget foyer but the rooms themselves were good and it has a fabulous rooftop overlooking Kathmandu Valley with a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend and...

I had a great time chatting with the staff. They were very insightful, helpful, and accommodating. It is a budget place, but you get everything you need. Also is a great location just outside of the business of Thamel. Highly recommend.

After coming to the same place for years, I can tell you that the hotel is now very run down. Toilet lights arent working. Dusty blankets. Way overpriced. Nice quiet area, with many other places to choose from.

We have nothing to say about this review. It's true He comes here to stay with us. He had stayed many times with us and always he wants pay same rate which is not possible. The main thing is HE HAS REVIEWED OUR GUEST HOUSE IN SEPTEMBER 14TH 2016 THIS YEAR AND SEE WHAT HE HAS TOLD ABOUT US. Hopefully...

I had a nice stay in Family Peace Hotel and they organized my Annapurna trek with a great guide Krishna Malla. Amazing tour, good price. This family run hotel is clean and a short walk from the hassle of Thamel.

Bimal, the manager, is wonderful! he organised my trek, my guide ( A guy called GM who also couldn't have been more helpful and informative ), all my transport and also gave me a great recommendation for a place to buy trekking gear along with price guidelines for each item. As for the hotel itself it's not the most social...

Having booked in July I expected the reservation for 3 singles to have been done for October 10. No way (and manager away) ! Still, we were eventually given rooms. Same problem on our return from a 3-week trek, only 2 rooms being available. The most unfriendly, disagreeable, unpleasant manager couldn't care less and offered us a kind of prison cell...

We stayed in room 302 and it has a very comfortable bed, fan, and some handy furniture to put your clothes. The bathroom is very large, and set up so that when you have a shower the toilet doesnt get wet. Which is awesome. Have stayed here bfore and the standard has remained the same if not better. Definately worth...

We originally planned on staying with Hem at Family Peace House for two nights- but when we got there we were inundated with friendly, smiling, helpful and down to earth people which made us extend our stay. It is tucked away in a side street located just outside of Thamal, with no more than a 5 min walk to get...
