Have stayed in The Hub before and loved it. This time, disappointed. The place has been allowed to run down. As no one else was staying there, I felt this time nothing was available. No milk for coffee, food was not nice the first night, the second night no food was available at all. The rooms were bare and uninviting....

The Hub was my home for 2 months while I was volunteering in Kathmandu (Feb/Mar 2014). I really felt at home! Situated in a nice residential area only 20 minutes walking from Thamel, it's the perfect place to stay if you want to have a local experience, with super friendly people, great local food (hummm I miss it so much!),...

We stayed at The Hub in the beginning of October for 4 nights. The Hub is a really nice place to stay. It is situated in a nice residential area about 10-15 minuten walk from the huzzle & bustle of Tamel. The hub is run by Anand as part of his foundation Volunteer for Change which supports several charity projects...

The Hub is a family home opened up to volunteers and travelers to maximise your cultural experience while visiting Kathmandu. With staff members to happily provide directions to places, how much you should expect to pay for certain things, current political issues and Nepalise cultures and traditions, you are exposed to a different side of the Nepalise than if you...

Without any exaggeration, if it weren't for the help of Aanand, Achul, and the other staff at VFC and The Hub, my group and I would have been completely lost. They did everything from negotiating the price of taxi's to helping us find amazing restaurants on the 3rd floors of poorly lit buildings. They are honest, respectful, and committed to...

The guys that run it are really nice and helpful people. Its not in the center of the city so you can feel more than being at home that in a hotel. Everything was clean and they will make the best to make you will comfortable. If you want to feel like home go to The Hub 100% recommended.

What makes Nepal unique as a country, the humility of the people, and what a trait to bring to your Guesthouse. Nothing was too much trouble. Indeed the service was outstanding and as other reviewers commented I very quickly felt that I had found a 'home' not just somewhere to stay. Stay here if you want a attractive, comfortable option...

“Depending if you are solo or a couple, ask the Brothers for the the type of rooms you would like to have, some has private bathrooms and others dont, the prices depends on that. I first came solo in Nepal, then my girlfriend jcame later, the staff were able to accomodate us with no problems, They will do it if you ask and IF they have spare rooms.”
