A great place to stay in the center of Thamel and tucked into a side street which makes it a nice and quite stay. It has everything you need for a base in Kathmandu including a tourist information area to help plan your trek or other activities, a restaurant and courtyard, and a rooftop area you can sit and read...

It was my first staying at Tasi Dhargey, the wifi was great, but the electricity only active for 2-3 hours and it only happened twice a day. It located inside the alley, so we can walk around and seeing the classic shops surroundings the inn. The hot water sometimes run smoothly, sometimes it just went off, but regarding that this...

I give these "standard rooms" nonetheless a 3* because the price is hard to beat anywhere in Kathmanu Thamel. The big overhead fan helps to keep the mosquitos away, and the free reasonably fast wifi lets...

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here! First of all the WiFi does NOT work! There are other hotels in Thamel that will actually keep a generator running for you during electricity outages (which is 12 hours per day every day). If you stay here, you will have no electricity for 12 hours. Nepal is on a grid...

The rooms are spacious and clean. Hot shower 24/7. Wifi is fast and reliable, even during blackouts. Located in Thamel but on a quiet street, away from the crowds and noise, but conveniently near to excellent bars and restaurants. They also offer money exchange services and tour services.
