We were lucky enough to stay at this wonderful hotel which is in Kathmandu. The lobby and grounds are beautiful and exude the uniqueness of Nepalese design. Our room, a suite was huge and beautiful. Much of the furniture and many art pieces are museum like in their beauty and authenticity. The restaurant's food was delicious. The staff was exceptional....

It's located not far from the airport, around 4km from downtown. Perfect if you want to avoid the extremely polluted center of the city. Kathmandu is a tiring place, town visit makes sense for its historical attractions otherwise it is a busy, congested and dirty place. Few days, no more. The fact the hotel is off the main stream is...

My wife and I stayed for four nights in this sanctuary away from the frantic city outside. We loved all of the restaurants including both the 16 or more course meals at the Nepalese dining room and the very personable Japanese restaurant. The setting is serene and the buildings look to be 400 years old as the attention to detail...

Magnificent boutique hotel! The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. The Junior suite was outstanding with full amenities, beautiful view and gorgeous decor. The gardens, pool area and entire hotel was peaceful and relaxing! The restaurants, food & service were excellent. It is a very comfortable oasis, feeling like a home away from home!

Stayed in this hotel for a spring getaway. The hotel is easily accessible to the airport and the cab FROM the airport was 800N rupees. The hotel is huge and nicely appointed. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. They try to remember each and every guest and greet them by name. We stayed in room 309 and it had...

I stayed here for a few nights. The room is beautiful and it was an oasis. Some of the staff are exceedingly friendly and provided great service. The senior staff at the reception can be more friendlier. The hotel in itself is an oasis and would recommend the hotel. However, I had issues with the sound proofing. I was on...

Another amazing stay at the Oasis in Kathmandu; seriously a sanctuary from the busy streets outside. My only constructive feedback would be that the morning waiters serving breakfast could certainly improve the feeling of being welcome.

The historical feel and multiple interior courtyards create a really wonderful environment. As many reviewers have mentioned, it is quite nice to have a quiet escape from the noise and dust of Kathmandu. A water project involving tearing up many streets has created a fairly unpleasant dust problem in the city. This makes having the escape of Dwarika's even more...

Most relaxing peaceful hotel I've visited. Really enjoyed the architecture, Japanese restaurant, continental restaurant, and fitness center. Restaurants are very reasonable, seem to be supplemented by the room rate.

Stayed on 3 occasions during our travels and each experience was excellent. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are a pleasing mix of comfort and history. Once you enter the front doors it is a different world from the street outside - flowers, birdsong and peace. Good choice of food for lunch and dinner and great selection for the...
