Firstly, this hotel was booked as a package tour so I didn't book it directly. I stayed here twice as I travelled two times into Kathmandu during my trip. The first time I must admit was horrible and the room was really disappointing. The room I had overlooked another hotel at the back and was utterly charmless and void of...

The Hotel is centrally located in the downtown, where it is easy not only foe sightseeing but also shopping. Also the varied restaurants are nearby. This Nirvana Garden hotel management and staff are like the ones to whom you know since long. The receptionist is a good guide. The restaurant is nice and for us like vegetarians, we new had...

We've been staying here for several nights (4th floor, the building at the back), and really like it. Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful, and there are many great restaurants around (try Rosemary Kitchen & Coffee Shop!!)

The room was tiny and construction work next door was right outside the window. There was no fan or a/c, but I got charged for an a/c room. The price for this place is ridiculous, there are many places in Thamel better and so much cheaper. What a rip off! Raju the manager is the rudest man, he should be...

Dear Lindseykernan, Your reservation was made through a travel agent who had marked up the room rate significantly which you must have realized at the time of your payment of the bills. Our prices are one of the most competitive in its class, as vouched by so many of our very satisfied guests. Yours was an AC room which for...

Located in Thamel, but isolated from the busy and noisy streets thanks to its wonderful garden, Nirvana Garden Hotel is an ideal place to relax for a relatively cheap price (US$30/day per room with attached bathroom, and a balcony). Rooms are clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, the garden is great.

The Nirvana Garden is a pleasant low cost hotel in the Thamel shopping district of Kathmandu. Our rooms cost around $30 US per night for a double with balcony and ensuite. Some issues with electrical sockets and dripping taps, but overall a pleasant experience. Beds were firm but quite comfortable. Breakfast is OK. When it's done off menu is better...

The most interesting in this hotel is ...the garden! In the heart of Thamel it is a real paradise to find this quiet and peaceful garden. About the hotel, i'll say it is in the average. There was no air conditionned in our room, but it was clear, comfortableand clean. The breakfast is an opened buffet, but the choice is...

I stayed at the Nirvana Garden last year at the start and end of a trip to climb and ski two high Himalayan peaks in the Annapurna area. This was my first time to Nepal, but from what I could tell this is the place to stay in Kathmandu. My partners on this trip have been to Nepal 11 times...

The rooms are dreary and not the best maintained, but staff is friendly and the water is hot. Food can be missed. Don't bother with the buffet breakfast- it is a waste of time!better to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning and head pm the street to the penguin for food. Overall, a god choice for a central...
