The reception is very helpful and speak well english. The rooms are nice and mine had a beautiful painting on the wall. The breakfast was the highlight. You can have toast, musli, fresh omelet, potatoes, vegetables and more... The kitchen is also very good and i think well known in Kathmandu. They forgot my laundry but it was no problem... More

Very roomy reception areas with better than average restaurant. Rooms at the front were very good but those at the back were a bit dark. Hot water was typically unreliable. Several PCs available but lacking Office and similar software so only useful for email or Facebook. Staff were always helpful.

A group of us stayed in this hotel in November, 2016. The pictures looked nice, especially compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our almost 2 week visit to Nepal. However, upon arrival, the manager informed us that they were out of room in the main hotel and that we'd be staying in their second building across the... More

5 years in a row and thinking back to the earthquake they went out of their way to help people. Far from fancy, internet and power sporadic (like the rest of ktm), but they have my vote! I use it as my base when guiding in nepal, very useful shops nearby, easy to walk to swayambudnath and go for a... More

Average budget hotel. Service is okay. They don't seem as friendly as other locations but I like the price, food and good mattress in the rooms so I keep coming back. I do prefer it over the other close hotels. Price to use the hotel car is double the taxi fare. So just walk out to the main road and... More

For a budget hotel, I prefer this over the neighboring Nirvana Garden Hotel for my weekend stays in Thamel. These are both off the beaten path in a quieter area of Thamel. We had 2 deluxe rooms with AC for 5 people. Mattresses are comfortable. Food is average, but my son swears by the chicken curry. They have a breakfast... More

This place is in the middle of Thamel the crowded center of Kathmandu. A simple but very clean hotel/ questhouse, with moderate prices. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, kitchen is fine. It is amazing that in this crowded center, their terrace is quiet and peacefull, shopping and dinening are just on the corner!

I stayed 7 days in a standard room and 4 nights in a delux room on the 7th floor, which was absolutely amazing with views of the Himalayas from the window and air conditioning and total peace and quiet with pigeons cooing outside and ravens cawking me out to play the bells for them on the rooftop. The views from... More
