I just finished a trek with my fiancee and her father and stayed at Hotel Marigold and booked our trek with Amrit Treks which operates out of the hotel. The hotel did what we needed it to do before and after our trek and was in a great location between shopping and the lake. The trek was really the highlight...

My wife and I visited Nepal for the first time in November 2016. We went to Pokhara to do some trekking and to explore the beautiful lakeside town. We were not disappointed. One very special reason for that is the wonderful family that owns and runs Hotel Marigold. We stayed with them for a combined total of 4 nights (before...

Me and my girlfriend stayed before and after our Poon Hill Trek and loved it! This family run business goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, and truly cared for. You wont get this anywhere else! We landed in Kathmandu before the Nepali new year was about to kick off, and it was complete chaos in the...

The family running this hotel are just wonderful people. They care about the people staying with them and treated us so kindly. They're honest and you can be sure they'll go above and beyond for you if you need anything in particular. (ex. waking up at 5:00am to make breakfast for us before we headed back for Kathmandu). The rooms...

I highly recommend staying at the Marigold Hotel, it is centrally located between North and South Lakeside, the rooms are spacious and clean, the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and they can help with organising trekking, etc. We were given a lovely room overlooking the rooftop garden, which has a beautiful view of the lake (ask for...

Location is OK, near the shops and some restaurants, till the lake approx. 8 min walk. Rooms are basic, no AC, TV was not working. WiFi was available free of charge. That was some power supply interruptions (but probably that is usual everywhere there). Service was great, guys running this hotel are very customer focused and friendly. They also offer...

The hotel is fairly basic but is functional and what you need. The staff were fantastic and helpful. Best of all is the links and advice on organising treks and tours - Purna was absolutely brilliant in organising and sorting things out for us, and even lent us a rucksack for our Poonhill trek!

Hotel Marigold is a great place right on the Main Street of Lakeside. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The guys running the place are an excellent resource for trekking, paragliding, zip line, etc. What makes Marigold unique is the connection to Eco-village - a hotel up on a foothill mountain. It is definitely worth a day trip.

We stayed a few nights at Hotel Marigold, before and after our 5 day Poon Hill Trek. The rooms are basic, but great value for money, and in the heart of touristy Pokhara. What made this place special was the fantastic service we received - we were well taken care of at every stage of trip, from pick up, to...
