If you are a solo woman traveler, beware of owner's oldest son. He will be under the illusion when you treat him with just manners and respect. Since then he will try to be over the line with nasty jokes again and again.

The room was pretty basic but clean. Wifi is poor and electricty went out quite a bit but this standard enough for Nepal. Tv in the room if you are happy to watch white static. The hotel though is in a good location just a 2 min walk to the lake. The place is pretty quiet as it is away...

I stayed in Hotel Angel for half a week. The dorm is comfortable, especially if one considers the price: 200 nepali rupees a night! The bed sheets are white and clean, lots of windows for daylight and fresh air, and good protection against muskitos on the windows. The shared bathroom is decent, with nice hot streaming water, the best shower...

My daughter had booked two rooms at Hotel Angel for 5 nights. When we arrived, in the rain, in two taxis, from the bus station they said they had just given our rooms away because they thought we weren't coming. They knew we were coming on the bus from Kathmandu and the bus was in fact a little early. We...

We were forced to stay here as we arrived in pokhara and didn't book a place. The room was cleanish except for two cockroaches which were swiftly removed by myself. We constantly had to ask the staff to switch on the hot water as it was never running. The bed was soft and uncomfortable. Location was decent but there are...

I met the manager when I arrived at the bus station and he brought me here. The location is good but after dark it can be difficult to locate because of the lack of lighting away from the main street. The courtyard area is nice and wifi is provided. However, i found the manager to be a bullying and loathsome...

Lovely simple hotel set around a garden courtyard. Helpful service, books maps, machine laundry and clean rooms. Always had warm water. Will keep luggage if away trekking. Don't book online but barter a price upon arrival.….................

A pipe burst in room 7, which was being used as overflow for the dorms. The owner refused to offer a refund despite the fact that we had to evacuate the room during the night, as it was flooding. The pipe burst while someone was using the sink, and the owner's immediate reaction was demanding that the guy pay the...
