I and my boyfriend booked the room here for 2 nights and it is a good place to stay. The room was quite simple and clean. One thing I like in this hotel was that they had window in the room. Shared bathroom was clean too. The only negative thing is that the stars was too small and we stayed...

My first time stay at this backpacker accomodation was in 2012 October for 8nights with a group of 7 people. As it was a pleasant stay, i booked with the owner again this year in April which is my 3rd time staying with them! Location: Nearest metro station is Ximen (blue line), which is just a stop away from Taipei...

We stayed for 5 nights in Deluxe Room L701 (we were given a triple room for the double room price of 1600 weekdays/1800 weekends, as the double rooms were already booked). The room was spacious and reasonably clean, as long as you didn't look too closely into the nooks and crannies. Wifi, air conditioning, hot water, and television worked well....

The room is big and clean. Do not be deceived by its name of being a backpacker. It charges at the rate of a backpackers but provided service we consider that of service apartment (studio) style. For the amount of money that you pay for their room, it is definitely worth the money.

First things first, my accommodation area and the check in/counter area are located in 2 different places; 5 minutes within one another. (my accommodation block is at Chengdu road - around 600m/10-15 minutes walk from ximen station.) There are also guest staying at the its main block itself though. Location in this instance is great as its near many convenience...

We rented our own serviced apartment during our trip to Taipei and I would say that the experience was more than pleasant. If you're renting a room similar to us (own private bath, kitchen, laundry) you will have to check-in first at their "office" where the dorm-type rooms are and then the receptionist will lead you outside to the street,...

Stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. It's location is really great as it is situated in the Ximending area, so everything is within reach: shops, restaurants, cafe, cinema. As for the disadvantages: there was only one toilet, may be I just didn't notice another one. And my roommate was a big cockroach. Fortunately, I'm not very afraid of them....

Stayed over a weekend in end October 2012. Stayed in the Deluxe room for 2 with free wifi. Wonderful experience to stay in an 1-room apartment unit in the middle of Ximen. Enjoy the center location and shopping, dining places nearby. Friendly staffs. Adaptors and towels are available for free but will require a small deposit.

A disappointing stay. This hostel is in a pretty good location in Ximen, close to the MRT and lots of shops and food. Most of the rooms have no windows and are really tiny. The walls are ridiculously thin & you hear EVERYTHING! Ppl talking, walking around, even urinating in the toilet. There is very little ventilation in the entire...

“The deluxe rooms are spacious and good value. Some deluxe rooms have 2 levels, which we requested as they looked nice in the pictures, but they were fully booked. We stayed in L701, which was large and well-equipped, but the mattresses were not very comfortable.”

“Staff there would require you to put cash deposit on almost everything( keys, towels, plugs etc so be sure to have a bit of spare cash with you) Also, the walk on reaching block 2 area can be a bit dark so please be careful if you are alone.”
KeiKurono, 14 Jul 2013 | Read review
“1. Book early because the rooms with the cuter design have been fully booked when we inquired. 2. The check-in counter/ office is located at the second floor, there are no signs on the street indicating that it's Taipei Backpackers but if you follow the building number and street carefully, it'll be easy to find the place. You can leave your luggages with them if you're early for your check-in or if you need to go someplace after check-out. They also have a payphone inside so that you can call your transportation service.”
