The hotel is a bit of walking distance from MRT, either Daan park on red line or Taipower building on Green line. It is nocer to walk along the park for about 20 minutes, even at night is safe. However, taxi isn't expensive to give a ride if you have lots of stuff. The hotel is very simple, basic business...

I stayed here for a couple of nights while doing business in Taipei. The hotel is adjacent to Taiwan National University, Grace Baptist Church and a host of companies. There are lots of restaurants to walk to for dinner. The breakfast was ample, tasty, with a good variety of items to choose from. There was also ample variety of fruits,...

Have stayed at the Howard International House a couple of times over the past several years. The rooms are small and very basic. No real amenities. One odd thing about the rooms that I have stayed in are that the bathroom mirrors seem to be designed for people significantly shorter than I (6ft 1in). The walls in the rooms are...

The hotel is average with big roads around. The mirror in bathroom is low, not suited for tall people (6') , impossible to shave without contorsion. The breakfast buffet day after day does not change much, so after a week it becomes boring.

This is the place I stayed for many times. It locates just next to TaiDa, the National University of Taiwan. It is surrounded by countless small restaurants and bookstores. Just a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is a little out of date, but it has a very nice gym and an indoor swim pool. The breakfast is decent. The...

I was booked in here for 4 nights by colleagues whilst on a business trip. It's a bit like a large student hall of residence but I felt very safe and there was a nice buzz about the place. My single room was small but had everything I needed including good wifi access, a flat screen TV with dozens of...

I stayed here for a business trip for a week, the hotel room was a single on the 8th floor, the room was a decent size, although perhaps a little dated. There was a decent TV, good wifi reception, a fridge an importantly for me as someone not used to the Taipei heat, air conditioning. Breakfast was included and there...

The Howard Civil is a big hotel, and on the whole it is a good place to stay in Taipei. The rooms are of good size, and you have a comfortable chair and a desk to work if you need. The wifi is free and fast. The room is equipped with a good size refrigerator if you want to stock...

Stayed twice over the period of 8 days in a single room. Clean and mostly quiet hotel, although I could hear snoring from the next room most nights. The bathrooms were clean and the single bed comfortable. Useful to have a fridge in the room, although a water cooler dispenser was in the corridor. Breakfast simple but adequate...fruit and toast,...

This hotel is quite good and very popular. Hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are very good with free wi-fi connection. Telephone and TV are also there. Everyday one bottle mineral water and one packet of tea and coffee are provided in the single room. Breakfast is also very good. It has many options to take food. Lift and swimming...
