i love this hotel! very good location, it's very well kept and the deluxe room was really big, best for a family of 4 to 5. The staff was eager to help, and they're very polite. Outside you can walk to Sogo malls and every street has boutiques you can shop till you drop!! Many restaurants also nearby. Starbucks right...

The best of this hotel is its location, it is in the heart of town (I presume) and just a few steps from the metro entrance that can connect you to the entire cuty and the contry via the high speed train system. The hotel itself was clean, quite and the staff were invisible, that is a good thing -...

Once you walk out of the hotel, there will be many shops for you to shop in. The room is big and comfortable. It is also clean. When you check out, there will be a lounge area in fron of the front desk where you can sink into the couch to enjoy a hot cup of coffee. They have their...

First of all, the location is good and you can enjoy local culture in Taipei. The hotel seems pretty old, but the room conditions were pretty good. Breakfast buffet was so simple, but OK for me. I had airport transfer service. The drivers were very quiet, but they were kind and did their best to serve customers. When we went...

We stayed for 4 days at San Want Hotel and were very happy with our choice. My teenaged daughter wanted to go for shopping and sampling the night markets/restaurants in Taipei and San Want is definitely one of the best choice in terms of value for money. It is located right at the heart of the shopping area, 20m from...

We had a superior twin room. The beds were smaller than a US full, but bigger than US twin. Our room on the 12th floor was completely renovated with marble bath although the shower ceiling was quite low as others have mentioned. We had a flat screen TV. The hotel seems to cater to Japanese tourists, not only because the...

I've been staying at the San Want hotel for the past 3 weeks while on business in Taipei. The hotel location is excellent for shopping, nightlife and proximity to the MRT. The entrance lobby is on the main floor, but the reception is on the 4th floor. Staff are extremely attentive and fairly rush to your aid, opening doors and...

I was there for Computex Show. The hotel is in a really good position to reach this event locations. The service was generally good and the only problem I had was the room Internet connection really slow.

My wife and I stayed here in two different occasions within the same week. Since the experiences were a bit different, we'll describe both. First, the location is very good. The subway is just outside the door, making it easy to get around the town, plus there is a lot of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. On our first...
