I was forced by circumstances to stay in this hotel, which should have had a complete overall about 10 years ago. The rooms are very dated, everything long past the use/by date. BUT the manager of this hotel ( one of 5 ) is a very good person, who cares, the reception staff are all outstanding, friendly, helpful and efficient...

we were there to compete at the Taipei Arena so this was perfectly situated. it is right by the MRT (metro) so we could go sight seeing easily, the Seven Eleven was a block away for snacks and drinks, the staff were great too.

This was my second stay at the hotel however they have changed their business model to allow a swarm of people across the straits. There was a lot of pushing and shoving. For breakfast, we were told that it starts at 7 but to come at 9am as the swarm of people flock in at 7am leaving no room for...

Solid hotel for business travel. Good size room, clean, great location right beside a MRT station, lots of cafes & and restaurants in the area. Breakfast offerings was very good. Only thing I did like was the cleaning solution fragrant. Will make my preferred choice next time I am in Taipei.

Really close to the metro, there are also three of these along the street so beware when taking a cab or anything. This one is next to the Taipei arena metro station. The Songshan and nanjingfuxing stops also have a capital hotel right next two them. The breakfast is great and should be included in the price of the room....

Capital Hotel across from the Taipei Statium was clean with kind staff, they will hold your luggage before your room is available. Rooms were spacious, we had 2 queens beds for my mom, niece and me. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 am on the 11th floor. Taxi and train is easily accessible but there is not much to...

stayed in this hotel several times (2010, 2013). place is just walk away from the Taipei Arena MRT Station so if you plan to go to tourist spots accesible via MRT around Taipei, this hotel is a good place to stay. Breakfast is good. Rooms and beds are good for a 3-4 star hotel. Some staffs are able to converse...

Although this hotel is listed on Orbitz as airport adjacent, it is actually almost an hour away by taxi, without traffic. Nevertheless it is an excellent value, with a huge, well appointed room and a spacious bathroom with all the amenities. Located in the heart of Tapei, very convenient for the subway, it offers ease of access to nightlife and...

This hotel has seen better days. While the room itself was large and well furnished, it is the little things that affect the rating. The phone in the bathroom looked ready to fall off the wall, Some of the molding on the door had come off and looked shoddy. The experience with the front desk was troubling. As there are...

Convenient- take Freego Bus TWD140 can ask driver to stop in front of hotel. Friendly and efficient reception. Large room, but old. Beds comfortable, but pillows too high. Shower not functioning ok. Little restaurants behind the hotel, not too bad. Poor breakfast. Little selection, miserable western choice. Close to MRT station.
