I have gladly exchanged the smell of Yaowarat streets for heavenly smell of freshly brewed coffee - at least for a while. Together with fresh pastries, this was one of my better breakfasts on the road.

This is the first bad review I write about a hostel. I booked a bed in a mixed shared room of 8 beds. My bed was comfortable and espacious. The AC worked correctly too. However, the room was so noisy. I am talking about the noises from the inside of the hostel. You could hear how the doors of the floor were opened and closed all over the day plus all the showers being used. The men toilets on the B area were too small and difficult to access. The breakfast was good, fresh and sweet, but the hardest weakness of this hostel is that none of the employees speaks good English. For instance, once I had to asked for a new towel because mine disappeared and the woman in the lobby was not able to understand a word. Another time, I saw the manager happily sleeping in the chair of the lobby! On the other hand, all the employees never smiled me back, said hello to me or thanked me when I helped them with the breakfast... That was so impolite. What I disliked the most of the hostel was that the common room was dark and sad. When I stay in a hostel I expect the commom room to have a TV with music, a pair or sofas, etc. The common room of this hostel was always empty and dark (except for breakfast time) with the TV off and nobody in the bar. This hostel did not look like one at all. It was more like a guest house. Indeed, I believe some of the employees lived there. In short, I would recommend this place if you are taking a train early in the morning because the station is only 5 minutes on foot from the hotel or if you like Chinatown and want to be close to it.

I rented a room for 4 people but we were only two. The price was 61 Euros, good proice for the area. Our room was right on the loud street, so it was quite noisy. THe staff was nice but sometimes a little cold. The breakfast is very strict: you get one sandwich and one drink only (I asked for two, but they said no). If you don't like the sandwich that's your problem. Hmmm.

The hotel is clean and quiet. Delicious breakfast but I don’t like the cup of coffee because it’s too hot to drink. The air flow isn’t cold for the top bed in dorm room but the bed and blanket are comfortable to take a rest.

While staying in hostels, I'm rarely if ever super impressed but the included in the price breakfast here did it. Add to that the excellent location for those arriving/leaving by train and the helpful staff and you have yourself a winner. [I just wish to comment on the criticism I saw in the review by Girlontheway, "...a bit too far away from all the local attractions...". As these are all over 'center-less' Bangkok, where would you stay instead? You will always be close to a few and far away from the rest. At least here you have Hualamphong Station & the subway line right there. Bathrooms weren't filthy, so you might have caught a bad day. Most surprisingly, no comment from you on the breakfast?! :) ]

This is an excellent place to stay in Bangkok, we walked from here to all the places we went, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Big Palace, Golden Mountain, etc. Located just next to the Train station to Ayuttaya. The location its pretty safe and there is a 7 eleven one block away. Includes breakfast and its actually a good one. The staff its very helpful and kind, they gave us good recomendations to visit at night.

After passing by this place twice on previous Bangkok visits, I finally gave it a try, and boy am I glad I did! Set in a very convenient location, just steps from the MRT and Bangkok national train station, as well as the heart of Chinatown, you really can't beat it just on those terms. Add to that the chic, modern vibe, friendly, hepful staff, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and to top it all off, a phenomenal breakfast, 2W is a steal of a choice for a night's stay in BKK. I would recommend this to any budget/hostel traveller, and will for sure stay here again in the future. Bravo!

Room Tip: Dorm rooms are fine as this is not a party hostel; guests tend to be respectful and quiet at night.

Hostel close to the train station so good location if you need to catch an early train. For a stay in Bangkok, I think it’s a bit too far away from all the local attractions (except Chinatown which is within a walking distance). The facilities are quite old and not taken care of. Bathrooms are filthy (especially the WC). Staff is not at all friendly and helpful. It’s too expensive for what it is (regarding the prices applied in Thailand): you can find way better for the same price or cheaper for the same standard.
